Vandy Vape and other wire research

Hi everyone!

About 1 year ago, I got into RTA building for MTL, with more or less success. I tried several wires (Ss, KA1, Ni80) in 28ga, 30ga, with different builds, but unfortunately, none of them lasted longer than 1-2 days. What is currently acceptable in terms of flavor and durability is the Vandy wire. Would it be possible to order some more from somewhere?

By the way, I would be interested in anything similar, or even something that would last even longer. The tank: Amazier Ambition MTL RTA.

I usually mix 6mg freebase at a 55/45 ratio with fruity flavors. Vaped at a low 11-14 watts.

I accept tips and advice

It will be 4 weeks on Sunday that I’ve been vaping without re-wicking and re-coiling with a Vandy Vape SS316L 28ga coil! I use it at 18 Watts, about 12ml goes through it daily…granted, it’s flavorless.
I’m curious now when I’ll feel the first sign of needing a replacement… because for now, it’s still like the first day :index_pointing_up:
What’s different from what’s usual in Hungary is that I’ve been using VG here (USA) for 4 weeks …instead of Floravitas.

I noticed that the more nicotine or flavoring I use, the sooner it gunked up.
But 4 weeks is rough. Is it enjoyable without flavoring? Does the base liquid taste different?

Try it then you’ll decide… but it should be minimum 70VG. For me, only the healthier intake of nicotine matters… if I crave a cookie flavor, then I eat a cookie

Another week has passed, coil/cotton unchanged…great even after 5 weeks :open_mouth:
The floravitás VG isn’t even in the running compared to this one…coil gunk formation is practically non-existent

So this means I’ll still be stuck with the one that’s not even in the running

Even for this, I’m saying that those three-three liters over there would be too expensive for me, by the time I went out to get them.

I just bought VG on Amazon … $14 1L

Well, after 6 weeks (!), today for the first time I’m starting to feel that the coil and cotton need changing. It’s still not bad, but it’s not like it was before. Besides the VG, what else changed in the last build was that I reduced the cotton length to the minimum (it just barely covered the opening it needed to cover)… maybe this also mattered.

And about condensation, for 6 weeks I never took out the Boro to wipe it… and nothing ever leaked from under it!.. obviously there will be some now, but after this much time, this is pretty much in the miracle category.
