Message from the future đŸ“©

Hi everyone :waving_hand:

For today, I’ve brought a question that can be both a fun nostalgic game and a great help and guide for current beginners.

Imagine you could send a message to the past: to your past self who was still smoking traditional cigarettes, and to the one who had just started vaping and didn’t even know what it was all about.

What would you tell them with your current knowledge and experience? :envelope_with_arrow:
If you’d like, also write why.

To my smoking self, I would say “Enough is enough, no more ‘later’! You know well that this crap causes all your illnesses! If you don’t switch now, you’re just wasting your own time
”

To my beginner vaping self, I would say “Finally, I see you’ve read my previous message! You rock, I’m proud of you, and keep it up! I know it’s tough now, but you’re okay, be strong because that crap will keep bothering you
You’re on the right track, and even if what you’re using now doesn’t seem like the best, remember it will only get better! With this, you have a chance to improve! Don’t hesitate to ask for help
”

There’s a suitable setup for everyone

To my smoking self:

  • You are so stupid for starting to smoke just because you wanted to fit in with your classmates. If you knew what a great feeling it is to be choking on your own cough 14 years later.

To my beginner e-ciggy self, although this can be divided into 2 parts because I had a try back then for a solid 2 weeks.

Part 1

I’m proud of you for trying to live a little healthier but you need a bit more determination because you’re still puffing that damn analog stick just the same next to the e-cig. You’re not helping yourself with this, you’re harming yourself even more.

Part 2 Well, finally, after 1.5-2 months, you can say you’ve overcome the analog stink-stick and you’re finally not choking. Don’t forget, the analog is not a solution but a problem itself, the devil; don’t even try to light one up in the future.

To my past self, who was still smoking traditional cigarettes:

You always hated cigarettes
as a competitive athlete, why the hell did you start
just because your girlfriend pushed it until you accepted it? Are you really that stupid?
Then you won’t be able to quit
 this won’t end well
it will cause trouble if you don’t stop
 don’t wait for it!

To my past self, who was just starting to vape:

You need to switch if you can’t just put down the cigarettes! You can’t wait any longer! You can’t wait until smoking causes problems! You can’t end up like your girlfriend, who you picked up the habit because of, and who is no longer with us due to smoking. Or your aunt
 or your neighbor
.

Don’t wait any longer, don’t postpone it! Vaping will be something new, it will be interesting. It can only be better than analogues! Those delicious flavors, all those special gadgets! Step onto the path that others have already walked before you and succeeded! Ask for help, and you’ll see, you’ll get it! Start now and don’t believe that you won’t succeed, because you will!

To my smoking self, I would say: “You’re damn cool for rolling your own cigarettes! The feeling when you create an almost perfect cigarette in seconds without error is simply priceless. Too bad it stinks and good-tasting clove wrappers cost a fortune.”

And to my beginner e-cig self, I would say: “Brace yourself, because rolled cigarettes are nowhere near the variety of e-cig flavors. There are so many flavors that you’d never get to the end if you wanted to try them all. Pro tip! It’s not necessary to buy liters of flavorings for your stash.”

I would tell my past smoking self that it was a shame you got addicted to cigarettes because you weren’t accepted either way, even though you were looking for your place in the world. Forge your own path that those who feel the same way can follow. And it’s really a shame about the cigarettes because they ruined your health!

And to my beginner e-cigarette self, let’s create Vaperina as soon as possible because there’s a huge need to unite the community and properly educate beginners!
