TC mode question

Hi everyone!

In this heat, I’d like to try TC mode.

Where should I start?

Zeus mesh atomizer with SS mesh wire, showing 0.17 ohm. In Watt mode, it runs at 66 watts with 3.45 volts.

I’m looking at the TC mode here, but I don’t know what would be good.

I mean, within that, what wattage and Celsius degrees would be good. I’d like it a bit cooler at a good wattage. Could you give me some ideas, please?

Since you are using it in wattage mode at 66W, here’s how you should start with TC settings:

Start by setting the temperature to 190–200°C. From there, step up by 5°C increments until you find a range that is still pleasantly cool but brings out the flavors (for SS mesh, 200–220°C is usually the sweet spot).

Set the wattage ceiling to approximately 55–65W. This power level is only responsible for the heating speed, ensuring immediate vapor production. As soon as the coil reaches the set temperature, the mod automatically reduces the power (down to 20-30W), ensuring the vapor remains consistent and cool until the end of the puff.

Lock the resistance at room temperature, as otherwise, it can misread the temperature entirely!


Currently, VapeDIY is not yet capable of directly calculating for mesh / factory coils, but I will soon add this option, so with the resistance and material entered, the TC simulation will work accurately for these as well.

Thanks! It wasn’t stable because the wattage kept jumping during firing. I’ll try it right away! :hugs:

It worked, thanks! The vapor comes a bit slower, but I’ll play around with it. I’m undergoing dental treatment and it’s better this way, not hot :slightly_smiling_face: I can manage for another week somehow :melting_face:
