They really needed the new coil build this time. This time a bit different from the usual routine. Kanthal A1 29ga, on a 2.5mm core, 6 wraps, 1.55 ohm, 9-10 watts. Bpmods cotton,.. and inside TPA RY4-Asian, with a few drops of La Tabaccheria. Just so the tobacco flavor dominates better.

Have a nice day everyone..

After about 25 ml of homemade coffee soup, it doesn’t give that much of a buzz.

This is what happens to someone who can’t handle freshly wound 30+38ga Ni80 Clapton wire. Because it is very throat-scratching. I put Kanthal 29ga flat wire in it instead. There is no problem with this.

The subject, a Kayfun V5.

First attempt with flat wire … It’s not easy to coil at this thickness, it didn’t turn out the prettiest either … 3mm core 5 rings ..21ga wire 0.2 Ohm ..

Honestly, I didn’t really have any expectations… I wanted to try it as an option.. flavor is always primary for me, and that the ramp-up time isn’t too long…

I’ve been vaping with it for a little while now.. quick summary
The build was 0.2 Ohm, it had clapton in it with exactly this parameter.. The ideal usage range for clapton for me was 35-40 watts. The flat wire is already perfect at 30 watts.. the ramp-up time is unbelievable compared to clapton… Rich in vapor..

The first impressions are very positive.. I will definitely try it in RDA and Aio as well, especially if I find a 23-25 GA or equivalent instead of the 21 GA.

The ramp-up would be noticeably faster with SS. Of course, if you chose Kanthal for a reason, then the slimmer flat wire can also help somewhat… and it’s also easier to build. For some reason, I skipped the flat wire test. Perhaps because I would regret throwing away the well-proven, round wire that’s enough for 8-10 years. Though securing it would be simpler with flat wire.

I got an SS flat too… I’ll definitely check it out… At first, pedaling was very difficult, but probably just because it’s unusual :joy: gear disengagement is indeed easier… I can test it further

The good thing about assembling these kinds of bulk tanks is that there can be no surprises, because most of the parts are compatible with each other.
