Factory or DIY boiler?

Hello everyone!
I am a new/old vaper. I have a Voopoo Argus GT, with the associated factory atomizers (I vaped for a few weeks a few years ago).
Do the old-timers all build their own atomizers? If so, why? Is it that much cheaper, or that much tastier, or both cheaper and tastier?

Oh well, “making” atomizers was an ill-considered slip of the tongue, but (completely by chance) I work as a toolmaker + I also have my own lathe and milling machine; despite this, I don’t think I could make a good atomizer under home conditions, I would need a blueprint for it.

Oh, and I don’t know why I can’t reply directly to anyone, maybe I haven’t read the rules thoroughly enough.

So, thank you for the help and for the nudge regarding the incorrect term! I learned, we don’t make them, we build them!:victory_hand:

How do you mean the building?
Like turning-milling, or like coiling, wicking?
You don’t need to be an old hand to build the internal part of your RTA yourself.
Determination, practice, perseverance, some video watching-interpretation, etc. (wire, cotton, tools)
It will be cheaper than replacing/buying atomizers.

Hi.

I think I can safely say I’m not a novice, but an “old hand.”

I don’t build tanks myself, but I coil quite a few RTAs and RDAs, if that’s what you were curious about.

I coil them myself because, as you wrote well, it tastes better for me, and it’s much cheaper than buying ready-made pod heads or factory atomizers for 1-3000 HUF

Hi, exactly! With DIY coil building, it’s better and more cost-effective. It only seems confusing at first, but it’s not hard! I feel like I wish I had switched sooner from factory atomizers to building my own coils.

I highly recommend it; if we can do it, you can too! :slightly_smiling_face:

I doubt this, I think you misunderstood. It might be “építik” (building) instead of “készítik” (making).

By the way, let’s not rule out anything if you have the necessary equipment at home.
Raymond Van Barneveld, who is a veteran (let’s say in darts specifically), also made his own dart sets for a while.
