Hi everyone!

I would like to ask for your advice and opinion.
I would like to try coil building; I have picked out two types on Zivipf with the help of AI, because I still get lost among the coils, but I am trying to learn :slight_smile:

1, Alien Wire:
resistance: 3.3 Ohm / Meter

inner wire: 0.8x0.3mm SS 316L

outer wire: Ø 0.20mm (32awg) SS 316L

2, Fused Clapton Wire:
resistance: 5.9 Ohm / Meter

inner wires: 2x Ø 0.32mm (28awg) SS 316L

outer wire: Ø 0.20mm (32awg) SS 316L

So far I have only used pre-made NI80 coils, but I have read that these are better.
I am a heavy DL vaper, I vape between 0.15-0.3 Ohm.

My question is, could these two types of wire be good for me?

Not bad, that’s for sure, there is no shortage of surface area.

The Alien is a bit more brutal and massive, but it also requires higher power.

In terms of flavor, I think it will be about the same; for vapor production, the Alien is a bit better, but mainly at higher wattages.

I think I would stick with the Fused Clapton for higher resistance and lower power requirements. But both can be a good choice for DL.
