Hi Péter! You’re right, apologies for the mix-up! :sweat_smile: I really got sidetracked into Warhammer, but let’s clarify the BD Vape Rayden 100W V2.0, because that’s a completely different beast, and accurate info is also important for @Tamas_Kaplar.

BD Vape Rayden 100W V2.0 – Why is it interesting?

This mod is a collaboration between BD Vape (Fumytech’s premium line) and BP Mods, and it’s truly a high-quality piece.

  • Chipset: It received particularly fast and stable electronics, which is very useful for DL use (where we draw higher power from the battery).
  • Compactness: Perhaps this is one of the slimmest 21700 mods on the market. If a “pocket-friendly” design is Tamás’s main criterion, then this mod aesthetically and size-wise outclasses the Thelema or Max100.
  • Design: With the V2, they improved battery handling and button response time. The metal housing design makes it feel more durable than mods with a more plastic feel, but as you wrote, the paint can also take a beating over time.

Tamás, if flavor production and compactness are your two most important pillars:

  1. The “Stylish Precision”: BD Vape Rayden 100W V2.0. If you like the quality, metallic feel and don’t mind being careful with it (it’s not IP68 rated), then this will be a very elegant setup with a good RTA (e.g., the previously mentioned Dead Rabbit Solo or a Blaze Solo).
  2. The “Workhorse”: GeekVape Max100. If after the Drag X you want something you don’t have to baby, if your hands get a little wet or the environment is dusty.

One more thought on tanks: Since you have an “electronics workshop,” don’t bother with pre-made coil tanks! When building, the 21700 battery gives you the freedom to bravely install a thicker coil (e.g., a Fused Clapton), which brutally enhances fruity-menthol flavors.
