Until now, I always had a pre-mixed base, but now the PG and VG are separate. I looked at the mixture, and my question is why don’t you need to use them in equal amounts (e.g., 5dl-5dl)? I will obviously make it according to the mixture/recipe, I just don’t understand.

Hi. Since the aromas and boosters are also given in ml, it’s much simpler to calculate. Simple unit conversion. If it were given in dl, a random slip of the decimal point would cause quite big complications. 5dl = 500ml or 0.5 liters. I think it’s hard to calculate mixing ratios with decimal places. Let me add, some people mix by weight.

Gyaaa! Yesterday, while falling asleep, I was pondering that how much simpler it is to mix by grams than to struggle with ml and liters. Although, I think pg is heavier than water. Well, I’ll look into that later, what it actually looks like. I just need a jeweler’s scale now. And an ultrasonic cleaner, and dvarw, and aromas, and a little thinner, and time, and money. And bottles and 1-2 mods, did I mention the dvrw? Ah, and a dvarw.

By the way, many people really use a scale.. I also tried, but maybe I’m wired wrong, but for me it’s much more cumbersome to measure to the gram, it takes me about double the time.. so I stuck with the traditional method.

There’s no lazier person than me. 10ml 100mg/ml nic. 100ml PG 100ml VG. I shake this well, then 2 days later I add a 10ml aroma to the 200ml. Done.

I pour 35ml of nic into 1 liter of VG…the level is marked on the measuring cup, so you just have to pour until then. A few stirs every 10 minutes, 3 times, and the 10-week dose is ready. There’s no lazier solution for vaping nicotine intake than this 
One of the “1000” reasons why I don’t use flavorings.

Well, of course, you vape differently. I can only get 10ml THT. This is how I get around 5% liquid. 6 was too much, 3 was too little. This has worked well for me for a long time.

PG (and everything PG-based) = 1g/ml
VG = 1.25…1.27g/ml
I always calculate with 1.25, just because I’m lazy It’s not rocket science

Yes, 60/40 could even be a good intermediate solution… You know, for DL they usually recommend 70/30 by default because the extra VG is responsible for more vapor + you know, the VG-heavy base liquid is thicker, so it flows less easily too.. For MTL, 50/50 is the basic recommendation.. or even PG-heavy…
But for example, I mix around 50/50 for DL too, the reason is simple: PG is responsible for the flavor, and I’m not that interested in a large amount of vapor.

Hi, in response to your question, if I understand correctly… the reason you don’t need equal amounts of PG and VG—assuming you want a 50-50 mix—is because as soon as you add the flavor, which in the vast majority of cases is PG-based, the ratios immediately shift. And if you also add a booster, the percentages will change again, especially since boosters can also have different PG/VG ratios. I think Vaperina’s blend is excellent, it’s worth using.

Oh, sorry, I’m just noticing it’s 60/40.
It worked great for me, I use this for restricted DL too. (60VG/40PG)
But of course, that doesn’t mean 6 dl VG and 4 dl PG, for the reasons mentioned above.

This didn’t matter so much in the old days, when a decent aroma was enough at 2-5 percent.
Since it’s gotten worse and everyone dilutes it, of course they put more PG into it
