I am currently using an RTA (Precisio GT), but I would like to switch to BORO devices.
My budget is approx. 60-65k HUF and I want a rebuildable BORO device.
So far I’ve found the Cthulhu kit (Cthulhu AIO 2 DNA 80C + 520 RBA V2 Kit) within this price range, but I would also welcome other recommendations and opinions on the above device.
Hi, I have no problem with it, neither with the DNA 60 version nor the standard one. Simply put, for me, the RTA/RDA line is definitely more reliable. What I use with them are by-ka, vwm boro rba.
Thank you very much! I’d like to get a kit mainly because of its practicality and the novelty. Actually, I was also looking at the Early Bird Serin RBA, do you have any experience with that?
Hi! I’ve been using the BMM .38 clone DNA60 version for almost a year now, it’s a very good airy AIO (less condensation builds up as the Boro nest is not closed, and its material is not metal). I haven’t had any problems with it so far, it works very well, and it uses a 21700! Metal-cased AIOs are heavy, and condensation builds up more easily in the Boro nest, especially if it’s more closed. Of course, you don’t need to be afraid of the more closed ones either, you just need to clean them more often. The Serin RBA is not bad, due to the top airflow design, there is no condensation (even in a closed Boro nest and a metal AIO). I haven’t used it much (I’ve built it twice), so I don’t have long-term experience with it. The RBA body is larger, takes up more space in the Boro tank than other RBAs. In terms of flavor, I think there are better ones, but I think it also depends individually on what gives the best result for whom. For me, for example, a Sturdy One Up (clone), an LP Mods Edict, an Alexa SIX, or even a DotMobb (clone) have worked better. I usually use an Alien coil between 0.35ohm - 0.5ohm.
