What is Vaperina Fact?
Vaperina Fact is a science-based fact-checking platform specialized in vaping. Our goal is to examine the accuracy, context, and strength of evidence of claims.
The platform is fully bilingual: all content is available in Hungarian and English, allowing us to engage with both the domestic community and the international level.
Why is this needed?
Day by day, we encounter news suggesting that vaping is more harmful than smoking or causes âmysterious illnessesâ. These news often spread without context, distorted, or based on misinformation. Vaperina Fact was created to break down these claims â with facts, sources, and science.

Donât remain in doubt: submit the link to Vaperina Fact, and the system will get to work. After analysis, it undergoes editorial review, and only approved content is published. We donât produce propaganda; we just verify facts.

The cornerstone of our credibility is the technological infrastructure weâve built over the past few weeks:

Peer-Reviewed Literature + DOI Identifiers
We compare every claim against the worldâs leading scientific databases â PubMed, Cochrane, JAMA, NEJM, WHO, PHE. We donât cite blog posts but professionally peer-reviewed studies. All our sources have a DOI (Digital Object Identifier): a unique, traceable code that guarantees the referenced research is authentic, exists, and can be verified by anyone. -
Artificial Intelligence for Clarity
Using Anthropicâs Claude AI model, we analyze thousands of pages of English-language research in seconds, extracting relevant refutations or confirmations. AI-generated analyses are always reviewed by a human editor. -
ClaimReview Schema: So the World Sees the Truth
This is the platformâs most important âinvisibleâ weapon. We store our analyses in a special data format preferred by Google and Facebook (ClaimReview). This means that if Google indexes our refutation, it may appear in search results with a âFact Checkâ label, helping reality to precede fake news in algorithms.
How to Read the Analyses?
After each submitted article, we provide a clear evaluation:
Accurate â The articleâs claims are in line with scientific consensus.
Mixed â Thereâs some truth to it, but important context is missing, or the presentation is misleading.
Misleading â The claims contradict the current scientific consensus or omit significant comparisons.
Every analysis includes a link to the original article, the verified claims, the scientific refutation, and the sources, so you can check them yourself.
What Can We Expect from This?
Vaperina Fact aims to give every vaper an argumentation basis with which they can confidently stand against misconceptions anywhere â be it at a family dinner, a heated Facebook debate, or any other situation â backed by facts.
This is a live project. The more articles you submit, the stronger the database will become, and the harder it will be to ignore us.
