Hi, I also had the experience of my package being seized. The difference being that it contained 4 longfill aromas and 8 nic. It was cash on delivery. This happened back in March, an LH order.
For a while, I was worried about what would happen, but in the end, they confiscated it. I didn’t get a fine.
Since then – knock on wood – I haven’t had any problems, I order from elsewhere, much more carefully…
Yours is different in that it “only” contains aroma. We’ve heard stories here about packages with only aroma being held up, then released. We hope it will be the same in your case. Check your email, perhaps you’ll get some notification about it.
I don’t like saying it, but unfortunately, I have to agree with @Zsolt68 on this.
If it’s Spain and UPS is the carrier, then there have been several customs/tax inspections… I’ve been through this before… It was just a formality.. they looked through it, and with this slow UPS service, it took them a while to finally find my address.. and after that, I received it without any issues…
I’m writing this as a fresh experience. I placed the order on 11.25 on the Spanish site, and they indicated the package by the end of the day on 12.05. On 12.04, I received a notification from UPS stating: “The recipient did not have billing information for this package, and the package was not received. Vecses, Hungary”. I received 3 or 4 more of these notifications. Meanwhile, on 12.05, I called UPS customer service. The lady was kind and said that the package had been flagged for random customs inspection. If there were any changes, I would see them in the tracking, or the authorities would contact me. This morning I received another notification of an issue, and then around 1:30-2:30 PM, the courier unexpectedly arrived with the package. There was no customs tape on it, it was as if it hadn’t even been opened. There was only aroma in the package. I hope it gets resolved similarly for you.
Same situation here! The same text from UPS. Today so many updates came, saying it’s on the way, with an exclamation mark, but where to is unknown… Today was supposed to be the planned delivery, but it didn’t arrive. If there’s any change, I’ll let you know!
UPS likes to pull this stunt regularly, last time I reached the point where I don’t care what they write… I know anyway that my package will arrive (they didn’t just cause trouble with vape stuff).
It’s interesting that only UPS has random checks… I think they themselves report vape packages to customs/tax authorities if they find them… or I don’t know… Unbelievable company..
About a month ago, I was waiting for a package from UPS. On the day of delivery, the ExpressOne van stopped in front of the house and handed me the UPS bag package
I asked the courier how this was possible. He said that sometimes they pass packages to them for delivery and there’s a big problem there, not a small one. He wouldn’t be surprised if the local branch would cease to exist soon…
I have published the following article and video for informational purposes, without causing any panic! It has always been like this, you can check your package at any time!
The package opening shown in the video is not recent, many probably recognize LH packages.
The package is full of nic booster. This is probably why it was seized. Everyone should continue to order at their own risk!!
The term ‘flavored electric tobacco product’ is so irritating to me! What makes the aroma tobacco? What’s the connection between the two? For example, I also don’t understand why the booster is a tobacco product. Then they should call it by its proper name, like e-cigarette refill liquid, or I don’t know what, but not a tobacco product.
These labels are also just an attempt to justify the tax imposed on the tobacco industry and to maintain existing state revenues.
Health is not a good business for anyone except the individual.
That’s why fake studies produced on demand exist and the demonization of vaping is taking place…our “sin” is already greater than that of drug addicts.
Indeed.
It’s even written on the aroma that you shouldn’t put it in the tank, it requires dilution! But according to the vape enthusiasts, it’s also e-cig refill liquid! And let’s not even mention the booster. Out there, anywhere, a piece is a penny item, so they also make a profit on it. Then in the tobacco shop here, an 8x-10x profit? Of course, everyone solves it differently this way. This is not a normal thing, just like many other things. For now, we unfortunately can’t do anything about it. If there were at least one Vape shop in several big cities here like there used to be in Budapest, it would be different. If they didn’t even keep it in stock, they could get anything through pre-order. Not with a normal profit margin of 8-10x. There would be demand for it.
I understand. Or rather, I don’t. If I go out and buy it, it’s legal. If I’m lazy and order it, it’s not legal. Damn, this is how delivery companies make a living, from human laziness. Somehow at times like these, I start agreeing with those who say ‘down with the EU’. Looking at the many regulations they’ve introduced, they’re really shooting themselves in the foot. I won’t go into too much detail, because I’m not here to politicize, just an example: the automotive industry.
