Battery

Hi everyone, I’m quite clueless about batteries, which is why I’d like to ask for help. My friend bought a Smok Morph 3 device and purchased 2 Samsung 35e batteries for it. The problem and question is that the batteries have “Not for Vape!” written on them in pretty big letters, and I called the store where he ordered them from, and they said that this particular battery isn’t good above 30-40 watts. The device would be used at 60-70 watts in this case. Do you think this is valid, or would it be worth looking for new batteries? As a side note, I’ve been using the same ones at 65 watts for 2 years…

Don’t worry about it!! Feel free to use it!! It’s written on several batteries too!! You can also find a topic about this below!!

Continuous discharge current (max.): 8A
Pulse discharge current (max.): 13A

This is very borderline for DL.
I wouldn’t go under 20A. e.g. LG HG2, Samsung 25r, Samsung 25s

That’s really too little in the long run. It’s usable, but it’ll kill the battery faster.
I also have a 35E, it’s okay for MTL up to 25 watts.

So if I understand correctly, is the Samsung 25r good for 6

Or Sony VTC6, maybe they are sold cheaper than Samsung ones, generally.

I have this mod too, I run it with Sony VTC5 at 65W in DL. The batteries last one day like this (they are about 2 years old).

Hello everyone!

I’ve encountered a strange issue.

I bought a used Smok T-priv mod without a battery.

Then I bought 2 batteries for it (picture below) and when charging, the battery mAh value displayed by the mod is a fraction of what’s indicated on the battery.

Is this normal? Was I ripped off with the battery? Or is the charging current this high?

The charging current could go up to this point, at some stage it’s not that bad yet. What surprised me is that officially a 5000mAh battery hardly exists, 3500 might be the theoretical limit

Would they have written it down and it would be 500? Then the stated 8

A battery needs to be charged with a charger, it’s not safe for the

I would rather not use this, in a mod.

Yes, charge it with an external battery charger, but this is max for a headlamp!

You would be better off with two pcs: LG HG2, VTC6 batteries.

Forget these, no matter how cheap they are.

6 arrived today, testing two of them now.

Does this want to MTL with this two-axis setup?

I guess with Brünci.

But I’m already getting tired of it.

I’ve already written that before shopping (not just them, but anyone!) they should rather ask us!!!

I’m not mad, but where is my ‘calm down aunt’?:blush::hugs:@peva

Yeah, you’re right. He/She is for the dl-tank mtl… it’s calm here, there are others with similar traits too..
I haven’t seen Éva for a long time.

Me neither. This is a counterfeit battery. It was already clear from before that such a fake one weighed around 30-35g compared to the 45-50 gram weight of quality cells. Nowadays I don’t know, because I always order from the same place, a reliable one.

I can still understand myself  but there are a few of us here from whom one could even ask privately.

I will not recommend mods and RTAs costing billions and billions of dollars, because I see it’s unnecessary.

See button-mashing and etc.

I understand, but I don’t prefer it.
