18650 battery wrap dimensions

Hi everyone!

I would like to know, or ask someone who has 18650 battery wrap at home, if they could measure the exact dimensions for me with a caliper? (width, length).

I can only get heat shrink tubing in 1-meter lengths, so I have to cut it myself, and I don’t know what the flattened size is on the shorter side.

I have this kind of shrink wrap at home, but unfortunately, I don’t have calipers to measure it.
On this page there are dimensions for it.

I wouldn’t worry about that, because it will shrink nicely onto the battery, but the thickness might matter. Because if it’s too thick, it might not fit into the mod without difficulty.

All types known to me (and there are a few…) are thicker than battery foil.

I have a caliper, but no foil :roll_eyes::rofl: (I’m not saying to photograph it, I’ll measure it…. :ear_of_corn:)

If the diameter of the heat shrink tubing is 30 mm, you will need to cut pieces 72 mm long from it.
“I have” both at home! (caliper, 18650 heat shrink tubing)

I apologize, I will correct myself.
The size of the heat shrink tubing ‘flattened’ is 30 mm. Its diameter is approx. 18-20 mm.
