Since Battery Mooch’s name has come up, I would also mention that it’s worth checking out his videos on YouTube. It helped me with my selection, and his comparison tests on how to distinguish original batteries from counterfeits are also interesting. Very useful.

I have been using the Molicel INR21700-P42A in my Stubby 21 since April. No problems with them yet.

Where is the page located where I can get a picture of the originals and the counterfeits?
And the shrink wrap, in case of damage, do we have to peel off the old one, or do we heat the new one on top?

Hi! If you buy from the webshops listed above, you have a good chance of not getting a counterfeit battery for your money. When re-wrapping, you peel off the old one; you don’t even need a tool for this, and you can reuse the insulating ring at the positive pole if it is not damaged. And you can shrink the new foil nicely onto it using a hairdryer set to the lowest setting.

Hi. If you type ‘sumsang battery’ into the search engine (Not a typo! It’s really sumsang), that also comes from there. I will never buy anything from that store again. But this is my opinion.
