Voopoo Drag x Plus pro voltage problem/question

Good evening!
I have a question. I’ll try to describe it briefly.

I received a Voopoo Drag x Plus professional device from a kind former colleague with a Samsung 40T 21700 battery. Anyway, I think the battery is good, but I bought a new identical battery for it this weekend, just in case that’s the problem. Anyway, the firmware has already been updated for me, so TC mode is also available now.

-I haven’t tried it after these yet, but I’ll describe it-

The problem is that I put on the brand new Fat Rabbit RTA tank with dual 0.18-0.20 ohm coils, and while vaping, the voltage drops to 0.78V. It’s only with this tank; with the dual Zeus ZX RTA or Troll X RTA that I’ve tried, there’s no problem. Granted, these are smaller tanks too.

The contact is not dirty, it touches.

And here comes what I mentioned at the beginning: I haven’t tried it yet with the new battery and the new software, maybe it would work now, but I would like to ask for opinions from experts. I’m reluctant to build it myself only to have to disassemble and wash it later.

Thank you very much for your help!

Officially, it has its own atomizer. (Maybe a PnP atomizer?) You won’t have a problem with that, they set the voltage with it, others had problems with it too.

Yes, unfortunately I didn’t get that with it. I’ll try again, at

Although this is just the X, not the X Pro, it’s worth checking the screws.

It would be a good idea. I checked but there’s no screw there for it. Anyway, I just put a Hellvape coil in it.

Dual, 0.20ohm, N80. At 55 watts it drops the voltage, at 60-65 watts it doesn’t anymore, but it still showed 3.46. But at least it’s vapeable like this now. Thanks anyway!

Someone folded a piece of aluminum foil between the battery and the cover. I guess this tightened the contact and it provided sufficient power. It’s quite a jury-rigged solution, but if there’s nothing else in a pinch, it’ll do.
