Help protect independent vapers – sign the petition to repeal Article 23 too! 
A new bill is being prepared in France that would classify vape products as tobacco products.
It might seem distant at first, but it directly affects us, Hungarian vapers, too.
That certain Article 23 would severely restrict the vape industry in several points:
It would ban online sales, causing thousands of webshops to close – including those from which many Hungarian vapers also order.
It would impose a new, extremely high tax on e-liquids (up to €50/liter + VAT).
It would require shops to be licensed, which could be revoked at any time.- This would put thousands of jobs and businesses at risk – and along with them, the independent vape community too.
Why does this affect us too?
In Hungary, we have already experienced what it means to lump vaping and tobacco together: closed shops, limited selection, disadvantaged communities.
Many Europeans, including Hungarian vapers, use products manufactured in or originating from France.
If these companies cease to exist, it would mean supply shortages, price increases, and a narrowing of choice across the entire continent.
