Vaporesso GTX Tank 18

Hi everyone!

Does anyone have experience with the tank mentioned in the subject?
How is the flavor reproduction for fruity and tobacco flavors?
How many puffs does a coil last?
Would you buy this at all, or would you recommend something else?
I want to buy an MTL tank where the flavor practically explodes in your mouth compared to other MTL tanks.
PS: I am currently using the Alberich II, I need something with replaceable coils to go with it, not an RTA.

Hi!
I’m not recommending anything, just noting that if you switch to DIY, you can play around with coiling/mixing to get the flavor just right.
The atomizer’s lifespan greatly depends on the liquid used. There are liquids that gunk up badly, and some that barely do…

Flavor delivery is very good with Vaporesso in both mentioned cases. (I used the brand in the early days)

It’s hard to say, it depends on the extent of use, the liquid, wattage, etc.

For 50/50 [VG/PG], can it generally be said that for liquids where 10% mixing is recommended, it’s better to mix them at 15%?

I’m generalizing about coils providing good flavor reproduction, Vaporesso is one of these brands.

Its lifespan is influenced by many factors.

  1. Which shift Citizen Ping and Pong is pulling at the factory.
  2. It might be made by another factory in a similar design (crap).
  3. Since it’s made in sequence and packaged sealed, it’s possible 4 out of 5 burn out immediately. :face_holding_back_tears:
  4. It lasts a long time with maximum fruit juice, preferably with one that doesn’t gunk up.

I recommend the Dwarv MTL RTA. You learn how it works very quickly. The clone versions are cheap, good, and there are many spare parts for it.
You’ll save money if you buy it because about 5 atomizers cost 9-10k [HUF, currency implied]. While the Dwarv costs the same and you can build it as many times as you want.

  • I think everyone here has one and can help.

Hi!

What is your problem with it, perhaps you don’t find its flavor reproduction adequate?

I use Sour Fruities flavor from the manufacturer Coffe Mill and Fruit Strike flavors from Big Mouth.
The latter’s flavor is barely noticeable, the former has a slightly plastic taste. I am comparing all this to a Lost Vape Ursa Nano 2 (0.8 ohm), an XROS Mini 3 (1ohm), and a Nautilus 3s 0.7 mesh.

Got it, so it seems the pods provided better flavors than the RTA.

Yes, and from the Nautilus tank, though there only when I used a mesh coil; with BVC, the quality worsened.

If you don’t mind, I’d like to push this RTA path a bit further. Although I use round wire myself, I’d suggest trying some Clapton wire in the Alberich II, perhaps it would bring out the flavors that suit you.

Currently I am using this type:

Look for something like this, it has multiple types of coils.:

Hi, if you definitely want to stick with an atomizer/tank solution, then if MTL, I would recommend this:

The Ito coils excel in flavor reproduction, and obviously it depends on the liquid, but they are particularly durable.
But don’t give up on DIY…

But should they definitely be single-core ones then?

Thank you very much for the tip and the encouragement too.
By the way, what is the reason why more people prefer building?
Is it the time spent on it as a hobby and the lower cost?

This is a complex matter, in my opinion… I say this as someone who used pods exclusively for almost 5 years.

Certainly, we can consider the process a hobby; the result of our own work can add extra flavor.

There are many types of wire and cotton, and their combination can be used in countless variations, which truly makes vaping completely customizable!

A single coil head can only be used for one flavor, whereas with an RTA, you can switch to the next flavor with just a cotton change.

Of course, building your own coils is significantly cheaper than buying pre-made coil heads.

There’s no dependency on whether coil heads for a particular pod will remain available. Either production ceases, they modify it… or the supply source simply disappears.

That’s all I can think of right now.

I think so.

Since I’ve been using my RTA, the unpleasant feeling from unexpected leaks has stopped . I’m not afraid of it burning out anytime, or that this is my last coil, and the new package hasn’t arrived yet.
