I recently switched from iQOS to e-cigarettes, using a Vaporesso GTX GO 80. I started with a 0.2-ohmcoil, but I found the vapor production too much, so I switched to a 0.8-ohmcoil. I use 50/50 e-liquid.
While I was using the 0.2-ohmcoil, I had no issues, but ever since I started using the 0.8-ohmcoil, the e-liquid leaks everywhere after refilling: it gurgles, sometimes it even gets into my mouth, and it leaks out through the airflow holes at the bottom of the pod. If I wipe it down thoroughly and soak up the excess liquid from the coil using a twisted tissue, it works fine afterward, but this isn’t very user-friendly.
Should I switch e-liquids? Or could there be an issue with the device?
Hi! What PG/VG ratio e-liquid are you using? It might be too thin. Don’t fill it up completely, because when you put the top back on and screw it shut, pressure builds up, which pushes the e-liquid through the coil (porlasztó). Anyway, it’s not a very good design; I started with a Sky Solo Plus, but I realized it’s not worth messing around with.
Using the search function, you can find several such cases, maybe there’s a solution; I haven’t read them, but I recommend you do.
