As a Vaporesso fan, acquiring the Armour GS was essential for me. My mods exclusively represent this brand, as it is my firm conviction that they only manufacture well-crafted, durable devices.
The Vaporesso brand was established in 2015 by its parent company, Smoore International. Smoore International, the technology giant behind Vaporesso, was previously founded in 2006.
Utilizing the technological background and innovations of Smoore International, the Vaporesso brand developed its products, such as the popular XROS or Gen series devices. For me, the latter, Gen, has proven successful, but other successful series are also present in my collection.
My first Gen was a mod equipped with an AXON chip that I first held around 2019, followed by the Gen S and the Gen 200, which has been conquering continuously since 2022, and looping back from there, we arrive at October 2024, when they started manufacturing the Armour G and GS models.
Even the packaging is striking, as a distinctive, eye-catching box unfolds before us.
The contents of the box are also not negligible, as we receive 2 atomizers and a USB C charging cable along with the device. The latter is only recommended for the G series, as the GS operates with an 18650 battery.
The Vaporesso Armour GS is a versatile and durable pod mod kit that offers adjustable power between 5 and 80 watts, and it is paired with a 5 ml tank featuring top filling and adjustable airflow (top airflow), thereby preventing leakage of the liquid.
It can be used with the full range of widely available Vaporesso GTX mesh coils, which provide excellent flavor and vapor production. The kit usually includes 0.15Ω and 0.3Ω mesh coils.
They have also installed the well-proven AXON chip here, which offers different modes such as Pulse, Eco, and Smart modes for optimized vaping.
It is shipped with a standard TPD pod head, but they have not forgotten the MTL fans, as it can be purchased separately in a 2-piece set. As an MTL user, I would note here that for tighter airflow, the drip tip has a 510 connection, so I immediately replaced it myself.
The menu system is well thought out! On the 0.96-inch TFT screen, unlike usual, the lower physical buttons can be turned on and off in the menu, and we can deactivate the locking of the firing button with an external switch.
Orange LED strips on both sides of the device activate upon firing and then turn off. This function can be disabled in the menu!
In terms of size, the pod is characterized by a robust, heavy-duty design, but it provides a pleasant feel, which is made possible by the durable zinc alloy frame and the comfortable, leather-effect grip.
In my opinion, it will be a useful companion in everyday life, like a kind of running-around car machine, so I recommend it to everyone with a clear conscience!
