After an update, it translated it for me, even though nobody asked for it, what’s more… but never mind
Your Indian name: Absolute Zero Degree ![]()
It was already translated for me. Sometimes annoying.
Hi everyone ![]()
Until now, the name input field was free-form, which in hindsight wasn’t a good decision, but one is always learning. This resulted in many people entering their full name reversed (first name + last name), so I couldn’t properly incorporate the abbreviation of the last name. This was necessary for data protection reasons and trust-building.
So I changed this too: I separated the Full Name field into Title, Last Name, and First Name fields. This modification was also made in the database.
Many people don’t sign petitions because they don’t know how their name will appear publicly. The preview function helps with this, which also handles Hungarian multi-character letters.

Yesterday, I spent over 6 hours reviewing and organizing all ~1350+ signatures individually, so that everyone’s data would be placed correctly.
On the signature editing page, it is now also visible with a preview how the name will appear in the PDF.

We transmit anonymous data to the public, but the official list going to decision-makers will contain the full, verified name, thus keeping our petition legally sound.
Thanks Don!
Thanks, that was quite a bit of work… ![]()

Hello everyone ![]()
In the signature list, you can now filter by county, city, or separately by signatories who have also added a comment. Additionally, the sorting order can also be modified.
Thank you. I signed it.
Kecskemét 20 signatures, of which 5 are from those who have expressed solidarity with our cause. I am sad!
Done. I filled it out, I signed it.

All-in! ![]()
The time has come for the entire Hungarian vape community to go all in.
If we don’t mobilize ourselves to the maximum now, it’s not certain we’ll have a second chance later. This isn’t just a petition - this is our future.
In the Hungarian vape world, this must be our number one priority now!
Of course, I filled it out, I confirmed it.
Calumette is with us! ![]()
One of the biggest French vape webshops, Calumette – whom many of you know and love – has officially joined our common cause! The banner will only appear on their site for Hungarian visitors.
This is a huge deal because it shows that the reform of Hungarian e-cigarette regulation is important on an international level. With their support, the petition can reach even more people.
Thank you!

Now is the chance for change!
If you haven’t signed it yet, or if you have an acquaintance it hasn’t reached yet, let’s go for it:

First Meta Ad ![]()
I struggled with the Meta system for days, but I managed to create a (vape) ad.
It’s running on Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger platforms (although it’s still in the learning phase) and hopefully it will bring people to the petition.
If you’d like to contribute to the advertising costs and help the message reach even more vapers, you can do it here: I’ll be a Supporter! ![]()
We plan to create more ads later…
Hi everyone ![]()
I would like to share with you, in the spirit of transparency, the ordeal of the past few days. ![]()
A Promising Start
I also reached out to Sourcemore, as many Hungarian vapers buy from them / browse their site. Initially, they were surprisingly open: they asked me to send mockups and design elements for a potential banner. I did the work, the designs were ready, and it seemed like something was starting… they liked it, they were enthusiastic about it.
The Technical Retreat
Then came the twist. After we presented the finished concept, their technical team feedback indicated that they couldn’t implement geo-location filtering on the main page banner (meaning, it only appears for Hungarian visitors). They stated that placing the banner wouldn’t be possible. I didn’t let it go, and suggested further alternatives to save what could be saved:
- Targeted newsletter only for Hungarian customers.
- Notification on the “My Account” (Dashboard) interface, visible only to those registered with a Hungarian address.
- Message on the order confirmation page for Hungarian shipping addresses.
- Anywhere else where they can display it in a way that it actually appears to Hungarians.
The Final Answer
Today, the final ‘no’ arrived. Although they understand the situation, they completely backed out, citing technical difficulties and “regulatory risks.”
If they won’t provide a platform! → As a backup, I’ve also launched Meta ads (FB, Insta, Messenger) to reach our fellow vapers directly.
If you’d like to join in and help get the ads to reach even more people, you can do so here:
