I also signed it, but for example, the vape association is not very likeable to many people I know, or no matter what anyone says, Tomi Fehér also has quite a significant following, but as you know, he has also been criticized more than once in the vaping community, so if that reaches those people, it’s not certain they will support the cause.
Conflicts within the community always make such initiatives difficult.
However, precisely for this reason, it would be important for everyone to be able to put this aside now. It’s not about who likes or dislikes whom, but rather about whether we can act together on a matter that affects everyone.
If everyone decides based on personal conflicts, then ultimately we’re cutting off our own branch.
I trust that on this issue, the majority will keep the common goal in mind.
As a principle, there shouldn’t even be a contradiction, but this is also about money/market (or was), and that doesn’t make progress easier…
In a community, there can be likeable and unlikeable members, I agree with Donát! However, for the sake of one goal, everything must be put aside; only then can what we want to achieve be realized. Unfortunately, protests and petitions organized over the past 16 years have fallen on deaf ears. In my humble opinion, due to indifference and laziness, it has never been possible to mobilize as many vapers as would represent a visible mass, even in a small country like ours. Fortunately, I am actively participating (since I got out) in the work of the Tisza party, and I am working full steam ahead to reform domestic tobacco regulation as soon as possible.
This sounds good, could you elaborate?
Until now, no matter how many people might have demonstrated, it would have meant nothing as long as this was a self-serving, opaque system, and in reality, everyone knows that no matter how many people protest, there is no follow-up action. Why did the French cancel the vape measures they intended to introduce? Because they knew that if the public became enraged, chaos would erupt, and actions would follow the discussion. Here in Hungary, they know that after discussion comes the reality of everyone trying to acquire what they need for vaping by hiding away and operating in the grey zone. Because when it comes to taking action, 80% of people are already too cowardly, with respect to the exceptions.
Don’t take it as an insult or attack, because I don’t mean it that way; we’re rowing in the same boat here on this forum. From this globalist backroom power paranoia, I’ve roughly outlined what you believe in and what you want, etc. My advice is to loosen up a bit; we’re not Chicago, and we won’t be
If you can’t support technological, economic, and political development, you can still step out of the cycle of modern life on a farm, but you shouldn’t reproach others degradingly for it (in my opinion). This globalist talk to me is a bit like when a Model T sped past a horse-drawn carriage back in the day, and the coachman pointed and said ‘Look at the idiot!’ Then ~100 years passed, and interestingly, the whole world travels by car. I believe that the huge generational changes that have exploded (here at home) since ~1990 are scary, because it no longer takes a thousand years for electricity to be invented and spread, etc. But there’s no progress without sacrifices, and humanity can’t step out of the cyclical nature of history.
Instead of fear, enjoy (and let everyone enjoy) this short lifespan we are given, and let’s focus on what’s important: for us right now, for example, being able to vape freely at home
Zsolt Neményi’s words are quite optimistic, and we won’t stop until our voices are heard. Thank goodness, so far it looks like this government has open ears. I say this as someone who wasn’t a ‘Tiszás’ and doesn’t consider myself one now, but drinking from a puddle is better than drinking from a cesspit, and then the puddle can be replaced with mineral water. ![]()
I need 2 more weeks, and I will elaborate further! Patience is a virtue!!
Agenda 2030… if you’re interested, look it up so you know where the development you’re mentioning leads.
I’m rooting for a positive change at least in the vape sector. Within a few years, this will be the least of our worries.
Okay, we’ll wait. ![]()
I signed the petition. There are 874 signatures now.
I understand what you’re saying, I understand the concern. But I think you can also see that the Earth cannot reasonably support this many people. Sooner or later, one way or another, the Earth will shake off this level of overpopulation. If we look far into the speculative future, and this is really a bit sci-fi category for the average person, then we will either move on and relocate (perhaps this expansion future vision is the most humane), or we will thin out. The main, let’s call it the globalist power, will obviously thin out first if colonization isn’t fast enough. At least that’s what I gathered from the many doomsayer agenda30 articles, that this is the problem with it. Fighting against this, doing something about it, fearing it, I think (and here I emphasize again, as an average person) is unnecessary, considering the several hundred thousandth birthday of homo sapiens, considering that perhaps now is the best time for humans to live - penicillin, tap water, central heating, et cetera. So I can still only emphasize this - live and let live, and enjoy yourself.
But always remain critical, skeptical, that doesn’t hurt, I agree with that!
This is a terribly complex topic, and I don’t want to spam the thread of this important petition, I just thought I’d write this down.
In the meantime, I’ve also collected a few more signatures from non-vapers, we’ll soon exceed a thousand, and that’s worth something in our small country!
I am a new registrant. I signed the petition.
Fun fact: if there’s 1 square meter per person, all of humanity fits in BAZ county. The Earth can often support many times this many people. Sustainability is the key.
My wife is the 881st… ![]()
My girlfriend is the 895!!
We’re moving slowly…
Yes, we are progressing 918, my sister!!
I was thinking of more within a few hours… but then again, we’re Hungarians.
At least we’ll have a list of who to help get things for and who not to… ![]()
