RTL is an abbreviation for “right-to-left”, which means the program supports text written from right to left. This can be particularly important for languages such as Arabic or Hebrew, where the direction of writing differs from that customary in most European languages. Based on the screenshots, it appears that Vaperina can now correctly display and handle these types of texts. (AI explanation) ↩︎
My utmost respect for your dedication. This is hard work. Hopefully, it will be a success, and I hope the group that caused the current situation will soon be in the dustbin of history.
Another update
We worked on filtering/sorting the topic list page.
Filter by Country
From now on, we will also display the country from which the topic author created the topic on the topics themselves. This is important so that you can see where it was created even before entering the topic, especially for specific questions.
Above, there is a filter that filters topics by country. By default, this is Global, meaning topics from all countries are displayed.
Clicking on the respective option loads the topic list sorted accordingly.
After the first click (up arrow):
Least Most
Oldest Newest
Clicking on the same option switches to a down arrow which reverses the order…and so on…
These filters/sorts naturally work on all topic list pages, so they can be further narrowed down, e.g., within a category, and can be combined and further refined by selecting a country.
You can also gain an advantage if you find a reliable user, for example, a French one, whom you become so friendly with that they buy what you ask for and send it to you privately in a package.
Yes, there is a so-called “core” with helpful intentions here, and there are those who just ask, give no answer, and disappear like Attila József in the fog.
I think it’s not necessarily clear yet for the newcomers who are the ones who have been here for a long time and who are the ones who have joined recently and are frantically looking for answers. Unfortunately, there have been quite a few like this recently (so it might seem like a big deal at first), but I think we all handled the situation that arose relatively well. We will overcome this too, like everything else…
