At the beginning of the year, Revolut announced it wants to open a domestic branch. It’s being closely followed. However, I don’t know if they will have ATMs, and if so, how many.

I had a similar experience during a transfer from PayPal to OTP. The 40 thousand I transferred, they were “looking for” for about a year. PayPal responded immediately that it had left them fine. You couldn’t get information from OTP by phone, as they claimed they didn’t even see the money, and told me to write an email. I wrote… then came a 1-month wait because, of course, the Hungarian system exploits legal opportunities. Then they responded, explaining the same thing they had previously told me on the phone. Then I spoke with PayPal again, and they said the problem was with OTP. This went on for almost a year, when PayPal finally sent a message saying that OTP had RETURNED the transfer to them because they couldn’t accept it, presumably due to suspected money laundering. 
But they also don’t know exactly what the problem was. So, at that point, I said enough was enough with them!
We moved everything over to Gránit with the whole family. We use the Gránit + Revo combo regularly.

You can still be glad they answered, because when my PayPal was finally hacked before Christmas, I couldn’t talk to a live person, nor did they answer emails. OTP finally reimbursed my damages (some guy of Romanian origin bought himself games, by the way). They didn’t even return my account. They didn’t answer how my two-step (email authentication) account could have been compromised. I sent them a nice commemorative letter saying goodbye to them and their esteemed families.

Fortunately, they answered all my questions quickly (within ~1 hour). Of course, this surely also depends on which department the case goes to. When they forwarded it to trace the exact path of the money, it took a bit longer, about 1 day. But it seems I’m lucky they handled it.
