Hi everyone. ![]()
I was just replacing the worn-out O-rings on the Brünhilde when I started thinking about this topic. It just popped into my head. It’s pure nonsense, but I still want to share the following train of thought with you, and I’m very curious about your opinions too.
This time I’ve strayed far from factual reality. Quite a crazy line of reasoning… Warning, traces of irony mixed with sarcasm!

Maybe it doesn’t affect everyone or interest everyone, because we aren’t all the same. Fortunately… It would be quite boring if everyone were the same. We would wear the same clothes, the same cars would speed down the roads. We would think the same about everything. There wouldn’t be different restaurants, brands, services, because there would only be one of everything. And worst of all, there would be only one type of music in the world. A middle-aged, former music teacher would play the zither. A nightmare! Since everyone would want the same thing, there would be no need or demand for anything else. And of course, this would also affect e-cigs and usage habits.
There would naturally be a global market, but only one type of everything. In a brandless world, there would be: The Shoe Factory, The Bag Factory, The Clothing Factory, The TV Factory, The Furniture Factory, The Restaurant, The Meat Industry, The Greengrocer, and of course, all other industries. And The E-cig Factory. One type of mod with one type of tank. One style and always the same flavor. And of course, everyone would be vaping with a smile, saying, “This is it, you have to love it!” But this is just a strange musing. Fortunately, we don’t have to live in a monotonous world. But the question that often arises is: If they all work the same way, why are there so many varieties?
The same, yet completely different!
Strictly speaking, they are the same because you press it and it produces vapor. Surprisingly, all such things are vapor-spewing types. Personally, I would appreciate a mod where, if I press the fire button, I would spew vapor, say, out of my ears…

But in the meantime, they are completely different because there are so many tanks, countless connection schemes. A wide range of wires. You can buy wire strands, claptons by the kilo. One is braided, another is woven, and the third type is crocheted by elderly American ladies in bandana prints to the rhythm of their favorite dance music. And the multitude of cottons. Where you can find anything from light white foam to very dense and “heavy” brown cotton. They are one unit. They are so unified that some are so soft you could easily pull one into a pillowcase. Lying on it, no one would say it wasn’t foam rubber.
Maybe I’m not the only one who has drifted away from reality… ![]()
Everything has moved towards DL. In every respect. They even DL-ified MTL with the MTL clapton! Sure, it’s a nice piece of gear, I like it too. But I can already see where we are heading. The user types “2-battery mod” into Google and is immediately overwhelmed by 1000+ different results. They type “1-battery mod” and might get 20 results if they are lucky. Don’t misunderstand me! Every manufacturer thinks about MTL users too! Just not enough! It is clearly visible on the MTL line how much it is marginalized compared to DL. Or is it just me seeing it this way? Refutations are welcome under this topic. ![]()
I believe quite a few tanks have passed through my hands. As a private individual, and through Vaperina auctions as well. Let’s assume, purely theoretically… There is 1 MTL tank, they facelift it, and it becomes V2. But let’s say both have a mini version too. Eventually, an RDA version of it is made. That means 5 tanks. 5 sheep from the same fold. And the MTL user is happy! Then comes the DL section. Given 1 tank, an RDTA and RDA version will also be made from it. They facelift those, and they become V2s. That makes 6. It’s not uncommon for DL tank atomizer versions to be made later, then we are at 7. After a while, V3s arrive. That means 10-11 tanks. Then the 11-member DL section looks down on the 5-member MTL section, and like a gracious lord, extends the DL version of the MTL tank. The MTL users almost burst into tears, and rightly ask: “Why was this necessary?” ![]()
And finally, what does the user buy? An airy MTL. In many cases, that MTL derived from a DL, which can be tightened so much that the liquid cannot leak out of that tiny hole even if you need to pee. But as in all cases, there are exceptions, of course. Those exceptions buy the model exclusively intended for the MTL line. By doing so, they show the manufacturer that what they are doing is good and there is a demand for it.
But what if DL suppresses MTL?
The majority of DL tanks can be restricted enough to be used for MTL. Ergo, after a string of curses, we would get used to it. But I must point out, I am still running purely on a theoretical plane. The MTL line must not disappear! It has a reason to exist! Unfortunately, less and less, but it exists.
We cannot talk about the reverse case, because DL is the dominant trend. It has grown over the years. It has been made big. Many people like the DL style because you can do cool tricks with it, there are nicer and bigger devices and tanks in DL than in MTL, the user spews vapor constantly, so it is also attention-grabbing. Which, in my opinion, has a positive effect on human ego. You need a school bag to carry half a liter of liquid and 4 pairs of spare batteries. And all the other sets travel everywhere, because you need one for coffee, one for beer, one after a meal, and so on… Which is not a problem, because that’s how it should be. But for MTL setups, a kindergarten bag is enough. You hardly need spare gear; at most, I take liquid with me if I’m leaving the map for several hours. But often, one tank of liquid is enough for those few hours.
With DL, users can pump more nicotine into themselves, and those DL users who have tried MTL have reported that DL is also more flavorful. No wonder, the reason is simple. Most current concentrates and S’N’V’s contain flavors and flavor enhancers that can only be brought out with claptons glowing at high temperatures. I wrote earlier that there are no explicitly MTL and DL flavors or concentrates! There aren’t, because they don’t write it on the packaging! Those I have purchased so far have not disappointed me in either MTL or DL. But the current case with Omerta shows that we are indeed creeping towards DL.
I demand that they write at least one recommended setup for S’N’V’s!
Many have been disappointed… With concentrates or flavorings, this isn’t such a big deal. If the flavor is faint, we add more. But if an S’N’V, which as I have since found out, contains plenty of PG, is faint in MTL, I can’t do anything about it; I had to climb through all the configurations the tanks allowed. In the end, I settled on a semi-DL setup with SS wrapped on a 3mm core, or an MTL clapton, and I have to draw the conclusion that this would be more enjoyable in DL.
So, where do you think the truth lies? ![]()
Thank you for reading!
Have a beautiful evening rich in vapor!
(Strictly on a theoretical plane! It is far from my intention to offend users! Please do not take the irony and sarcasm seriously!)
