Hi everyone!
After a long break, I’m returning to vaping, and I just ordered a Vaporesso XROS 5 with 0.8 Ω pods. I also bought two flavors:
- Full Moon Hypnose
- Full Moon Sunrise
This will be my first DIY mix in years, so I have a few questions.
The manufacturer recommends a 15% mixing ratio for both flavors. In the XROS 5, using 0.8 Ω MTL and mixed with nic salt, do you think this is really ideal, or should I rather start around 10-13%?
My goal would be approximately 13 mg/ml nicotine strength with a nic salt booster.
For those who have experience specifically with Full Moon Hypnose or Sunrise flavors in a pod system, at what percentage did you use them, and how intense was the flavor?

I haven’t tried these 2 flavors yet, but if I start from Full Moon Dark Summer mixed at a 10% ratio, for me it’s almost just too intense (of course, this also depends on the individual, what suits them).
Also, what the site recommends isn’t always accurate; it says 15% for Dark Summer too, but on the flavor bottle 5-10% is indicated, and as far as I can see, about all Full Moon ones are like this.
As for how hard-hitting 13mg/ml will be, that will become clear. Based on my own experience, I used to smoke 1-1.5 packs of cigarettes a day; when switching, I set it to 10mg/ml, which was still okay, but 6.6mg/ml really worked well. Of course, it also depends on how much you want to vape; if you want to puff a lot, I think it’s more advisable to set a lower dose.
But this is just my opinion; this is how I see things.

For me, Full Moon was enough mixed at 8-10%, but on an RDL-DL setup.
With this ratio, you won’t miss, IMHO, if it’s too little, you can add more flavor.
Of course, keeping the VG-PG ratio in mind.

Thanks, currently I smoke 10-15 cigarettes a day. I was hesitating between 10/13mg, but maybe I’ll start with 10mg and 10% first, then it will evolve. What do you vape the current 6.6mg/ml in?

I forgot to mention that 6-8mg nicotine is what I’m aiming for, after 10 years of heavy smoking.
1.5-2 packs of brown Sopianae cigarettes was my usual dose.
