I went to the National Tobacco Shop because I was running out of nicotine. I thought I would legally acquire some, and I got a few, but the saleswoman said that once they run out, they won’t get any more. She couldn’t tell me the reason why either. I know the internet is my friend, but I couldn’t find anything about this. Perhaps you know why they are discontinuing its sale?

In my opinion, in this case, this national crony scheme cannot use the excuse of “I have no revenue from it.”
Then there can only be one explanation: that I make it disappear for a while, thereby starving the market, and then after a few months, as a benefactor, I help with the procurement at a 20-25% higher price…

From June 25th, the sale of flavored liquids is banned, regardless of whether they contain nicotine or not. Existing stock can still be sold off.
There is no mention of prohibiting the sale of nicotine boosters or unflavored liquids. This will likely be specific to Tobacco Shops. If demand is low, they won’t order them either, but they might still be available in another store.

I read in several places that this is what the tobacco shopkeepers said, which is why I asked about it. Here they said they wouldn’t even be able to order.

Honestly, I’m also really freaked out by this. There are sites, for example, where it’s just written that 9mg. I bought from them once in my life, never again. I think 4mg was good. Anyway, I don’t buy from such sites. I’d rather stick to abroad. Or if some friend comes home, I ask him to bring me some. But I’m really afraid this community will be badly ripped off. The noname shops.

Well, all liquid is flavored, unless it’s in the base liquid category. They also cannot sell that, so what can we buy? This is really pointing in one direction…

Unflavored liquid (nicotine/nicotine-free) and nicotine boosters can still be sold.
It’s another matter that in most tobacco shops, the sellers are totally clueless about what’s what and often talk nonsense.

Previously, 18-20% nic boosters were available from Vivo and Mellow Dew, as well as 10ml aroma and 50/60ml shortfills. Although, to be fair, their labeling is contradictory, because they simply write ‘aroma’ on the 10ml ones, but according to their internal mixing guide, they are a ready-to-use product, just fill it into the atomizer…

One without flavor, meaning flavorless.
- PG + VG
- PG + VG + Nicotine
- Nicotine booster (10ml) in TPD compliant packaging. (Nicotine dissolved in PG or VG, which is 18 or 20 mg/ml.)

In our area, one of the two dodgy shops is run by my childhood friend. I asked him a couple of things about e-cigarettes, and he thought I’d gone mad asking such things.
Even in some of the shops in Szolnok, they sometimes look at me strangely when I inquire.

A few days ago, I also went to a tobacco shop where they said that the nicotine booster would be discontinued and that they wouldn’t be able to order it anymore.
Immediately after this, I visited another tobacco shop to check what they would say there, where they stated they don’t see a ban in the system

Update
I visited the same tobacco shop today where last week they told me that an order of nicotine boosters was coming and would continue to arrive. Today was restocking day, so I trudged down hopefully and entered the shop, where I cheerfully indicated my intention to purchase the usual quantity of boosters.
The saleswoman cheerfully told me that no nicotine boosters had arrived with the shipment and that none would arrive in the future because they had been banned and could no longer be ordered.
The mood remained cheerful.
The news was devastating, but regardless, there might still be some misunderstanding behind the scenes that they will correct in the future. I hope so.
Until then, e-legality remains.

Today I was at another national store where I got 20 mg nic. They said here that it is available and will continue to be available, only the flavored stuff will be discontinued.

I heard from a tobacconist that only tobacco-flavored e-liquid will be allowed to be sold, which is why it’s not worth it for many to sell those few types, because they’ve only been a hassle so far anyway. Honestly, I wouldn’t even want the trash-quality Mellow Dew and Vivo anyway…
