Why is only home delivery available on LPV?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been ordering from the French site “kicsike vaper” to a drop box until now, and everything went perfectly fine. Today I noticed that I can only request home delivery. Has anyone ordered from them using this method before? What are your experiences?

Hi!
If I remember correctly, DPD delivers it. If you don’t have the opportunity to receive the package from the courier, you can redirect it to a pickup point near you.
I have done this before, and it worked for me.

I ordered exactly a month ago, DPD delivered it then. It’s just suspicious if they are delivering it again, why can’t I request delivery to a box…

Never mind, I’m still waiting for the French team’s answer too, I just thought maybe someone has a more recent experience. (By the way, they don’t even deliver to my Slovak “address” anymore… that’s why I think something significant has changed compared to last month.)

Hi! That’s strange, because I can still choose between home delivery or parcel point pickup right now.

I would rather think that there was something (or something similar) in your cart that only one of their carriers handles. Because Colissimo (they handle home delivery) and Chronopost (parcel point) pick up the package from them, and after the French border, DPD actually handles it, no matter which one you choose.

By the way, there might have been some change on their end. A package arrived last week and it was quite crushed, its side torn open, and several items were missing. Thanks, DPD… I wrote to them, attaching pictures, asking if they could replace or resend the items, but in response, they only offered a coupon or a refund of the purchase price. Or maybe they just screwed me over so they wouldn’t have to resend a few aromas :smile: Regardless of that, they were completely fair.

“Unfortunately, due to recent changes with our shipping partner, we are no longer able to send a replacement package as part of our after-sales service (free orders will no longer be processed).
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
However, we would like to confirm that you can still receive packages from us if you placed the order. Accordingly, we offer you the choice of a credit or a refund for the order.”

As a test, I put an 18650 battery in the cart, then it offers a parcel point (at the usual price) as shipping and some horrible 30 euro home delivery (I guess this is UPS browsing their shipment price list)

yes, I thought I’d order the aroma anyway, maybe it won’t get lost in the mail…. and now I know how to request it for a box!!!

although they wrote this:

“ Unfortunately, we no longer offer this delivery method to this destination.
