Do you know of any tobacco shops in Budapest that have a good selection of vape gear? I quit vaping years ago, and when I want to return, I see that the webshops are… well… I was already hesitant to order online back then, and now I’m even less likely to dare, knowing my luck.

Thanks for the answer, I’d prefer to stick with a new one if possible I haven’t really thought about the budget. I previously had a Geekvape Aegis Q, and I’d like to stick with devices with a similar MTL design. (around 60 euros? but this can change :D)
Hi, as my colleague has already mentioned, here on the site you can find very good devices in the bazaar and in the buy/sell sections. I can boldly recommend it because here I have only met honest sellers. Unfortunately, we live in Hungary and there are no physical, or any shops at all here. If traveling is not a problem, then on the Slovak side, Štúrovo (Párkány) and Komárno can be your destination; there are vape shops there.
Thanks for the tips too unfortunately, traveling without a car is a bit inconvenient. But I hoped that since tobacco shops can sell them, it would be possible to find something acceptable there.

Yes, the situation is difficult this way. As others are also writing, you should check out the Vaperina bazaar or the Adok-Veszek section if you want a good device.
It’s important to know about devices from tobacconists that they don’t necessarily represent quality, but often shame even premium category products in terms of price.
A used e-cig doesn’t mean it’s bad, quite the contrary, vapers usually take great care of their gear, so when it’s passed on, it’s often in almost the same condition. It’s a very common thing in the community for devices to circulate. You don’t need to be afraid of it.
