Hi everyone! Has anyone taken one of these apart? I’ve unscrewed it from the top and bottom, but the side doesn’t separate from it, only on one side. I didn’t want to force it too much.
I couldn’t find a video about it.
Thanks in advance!

I suspect it’s due to the “adhesive strip disease” that migrated from the smartphone industry. Industrial robots fix the casing elements and components of almost every built-in battery product with it. It comes apart under slow stress, but then it no longer sticks. “Smart adhesive” for the “smart industry” in the name of planned obsolescence.
Gentle warming will help with it, like how they are taken apart on a heating pad for mobile phones… I don’t have any other ideas.
Then forceful tearing apart, then a hammer… ![]()
suspicious that it’s glue…
Where it separates, is there glue residue? Or is it just snapped together?

Edit: And anyway, why does it need to be taken apart, if I may ask?

Although this isn’t a full disassembly video and I don’t know how far you managed to take it apart, hopefully it helps somehow (if this is even the Z50…
)
No, screws hold it together.
I want to take it apart because it supposedly has an 18650 in it, and I want to replace it.
Thank you very much! Yes, this is exactly the Z50! I found the answer based on your video, although it’s so fast that I had to freeze-frame it multiple times.
According to this, I also have to somehow remove the top fitting, and underneath it there are two more screws.

I could even take off its side, but the 18650 is factory soldered, it can’t be replaced

It’s possible, for a soldering tab, with soldering…
It can be replaced, you just need a soldering iron and a replacement battery with solder
I didn’t really want to mess with it, I’m afraid of old batteries. I threw the whole thing out, the other one still works.
