Would it be worth upgrading from Legend 3 to this Legend 5? Because I’ve been eyeing it for two or three days now.

Yes and no, in terms of capability, the mod reaches the level one expects from this price category.
Pros and cons
The Legend 5 received a dedicated slider on its side, while the 3 is touch-sensitive, which can sometimes be funny. Of course, the 3 can also be locked and unlocked with a button combination.

Display: A step back compared to the Legend 3. The display is placed much deeper from the front panel, with unnecessary animations when the fire button is pressed. It’s also long. And the resolution isn’t that good anyway (of course, that’s not the main point of the mod).

Material usage: This is a big minus for me – for the Legend 5, which is why it became a workhorse mod, while the 3 is more for city strolling.
Weaker material quality wears out faster. What was metal on the Legend 3 is now plastic, apart from the main frame which remained metal. The faux leather back panel didn’t give me a good feeling either; I’d compare it more to rubber.

Legend 3 wins (this opinion is completely subjective, this is my experience)
I would add that these are all aesthetic things; they don’t affect the essential part of the mod. Both the Legend 3 and the Legend 5 are good little machines; the 5 is newer, a bit different from the Legend 3.
Is it worth switching? Yes! But it’s better to divide the use of the mods into two parts, and then you surely can’t go wrong.
Just an example: for me, the dedicated side slider is a huge positive and a convenience feature, and often practical when you need to quickly put it in your pocket, etc.
I would like to emphasize that this is a perfectly good mod; it does what it needs to do nicely.
