GeekVape Aegis Legend 5

Hello Vapers!

I’m new here on the site, but I’m incredibly happy that I found it/you! I hope to have many interesting conversations, readings, and posts!

I was among the lucky people who managed to get the GeekVape Aegis Legend 5 Everest Sunrise special edition. I think I was among the last, as wherever I browsed, it was out of stock everywhere. One day, a smaller French site popped up where there were about 4-5 pieces still in stock, which I managed to snag. I’ve always used GeekVape; before this, I had a Legend 2. The manufacturer has never disappointed me, so I was curious about the new fifth series. The device is a bit larger in length but not in other aspects. The most noticeable change is on the front, as the device received a larger display, rounded towards the sides with a black bezel around it. I particularly like that they included an LED. It’s not a big deal, but it can really enhance vaping in the dark :star_struck: . They managed to create another incredibly beautiful device again, especially with the limited edition. The grip on the spine part gives me a much better leather feel than the previous ones, and it feels a bit velvety too! . Besides all this, despite being a huge fan of the company, the Legend 5 unfortunately has a flaw (at least for me), which is the refill part. Why did they have to replace the old screw-on method with this slide-out one? With thicker bottles, I can’t even get in properly unless I remove the “helmet” part. Okay, I know it’s not a huge problem, but I find it annoying. Other than that, I really have no other issues with the device. A big thumbs up to GeekVape for putting different modes into the device (ECO, Normal, Smart), which allows us to regulate our device better, and it can also regulate itself. It detects (obviously) which atomizer is in it and adjusts the max wattage accordingly. If it’s not locked and accidentally ends up in your pocket, there’s no problem, as it won’t let you go above the atomizer’s limit. In my case, for example, I currently have a 0.2Ω atomizer in it, which is around 70-80W. If I try to go above 80W, it automatically drops back to 70. Overall, we’ve received another fantastic device. Big thumbs up, GeekVape, and thank you for reading! I recommend this device to everyone! Do you like it, or what are your experiences with these devices? Have a nice day!:innocent:

I also have a 5. True, not the limited edition, but the turbo red one. The paint wears off terribly in the pocket. It won’t be much by the time it’s 1 year old. The silver Legend inscription has also peeled off. I can only use the custom mode, otherwise it immediately gives a burnt taste. And the flashy display eats up the battery. Of course, it cannot be turned off. But the most annoying thing is the lock button. Even if I lock the +/- buttons, the mechanical lock button releases everything, so I can easily press the wattage value. I bought this device precisely because I could easily lock the fire button. It’s usable, but sometimes less is more.

The mentioned legend 5 and a minimum 5-year-old first series.

The Legend 2 SS is the best! 4 years old, but hardly worn!:+1:
