French - Slovak Express: Check

Hi everyone.

It turned out that I ordered soup from France to a Slovak village near Esztergom, and it arrived without a hitch. The GPS was a bit off regarding the location of the AlzaBox, but it’s on the side of a Billa, not far from the bridge. Besides the 3-liter soup, there were 4x30 spices, and I’ll check what other gifts there are. So it works, it’s not a problem for those who live close to the border (I came from Budapest).
What you need to pay attention to is that they send it back within 3 days, even though I only received the notification today that I could pick it up.
All this despite them already delaying the delivery twice by 2 days. But I have it, that’s the main thing.

The best part is that an ex-colleague who had previously emigrated to France came home for a month in the meantime, and it didn’t even occur to me to flirt with him while he’s working for me for 2 weeks while he’s home.
¯\(ツ)

He’s going back in September, but he’ll come home for a few days in October for a birthday (Budapest - Cegléd), and then once more around Christmas, if you’d like to taste the snails

I’m not traveling anywhere  it’s the same for me at home with the courier service, for myself
Everyone knows what’s worth it for them

I recommend smart underwear for the scared. In a given situation, it will brown itself instead of you.:joy::rofl:

Fear is a perfectly normal human trait.

To everyone new who comes across this topic, I would say: don’t overcomplicate it like the vaper colleague. It comes with unnecessary burden and cost.

My other problem was that none of the French websites deliver to Hungarian parcel lockers, only to home addresses, which for me is only feasible during a match. At most, I could pick it up on Sunday, but then none of the delivery services work.

Panel or family home?
After all, if you tip, the couriers will take it anywhere, even to the agreed hiding place!

Family house.

I am a construction entrepreneur + divorced + I have a baby. I am out of the house from about Monday morning 6 AM until Saturday evening 9 PM (if I’m not working, I program with the child in the afternoons-evenings). On Sunday, I usually do laundry at dawn, if the kid can come to me, then my time at home ends there (we go to the playground, bouncy castle, and so on). If there’s no kid on Sunday, then I finally have a day off during the week.

In case of unsuccessful delivery, the package can be requested to be delivered to a pick-up point or a parcel locker.

Well, I haven’t encountered that yet. With GLS, I once had to go to their center in the 15th district, which was almost impossible to do in time, and DPD simply sent the packages back once.

Yes, I also always change it to a parcel point. I’m never home in the morning.

My DPD app, you can tinker with your own packages there…
