Hi!

Is anyone familiar with the 2fdeal.com webshop? Has anyone ordered from here before, what can I expect?

It’s referred to as the “successor” to fasttech.com, there are many things. I also ordered wire and bubble mailers, if I understand correctly, “VAT included in the price”. I assume I can expect customs clearance costs.

Does anyone have specific experience?

2fdeal.com is a pretty old player in the industry, many really consider it a successor to FastTech. I’ve gathered the most important info for you, found on Vaperina and the net about them:

Reliability and experiences

  • Vaperina reviews: The community has several topics discussing them. Generally, they are considered a reliable shop, many order clones (e.g., Ulton, YFTK) and accessories from them.
  • Important warning: I found an older topic (2Fdeal online order), which is over a year old, so shipping times mentioned there may have changed. However, there’s a more recent mention in the Masters of Winemaking thread, where members also reported positive experiences.
  • SZTFH list: I checked the official Hungarian blocked websites list, and 2fdeal.com is not on it, meaning it’s currently accessible and not a prohibited domain from Hungary.

VAT, Customs, and Shipping

  • IOSS (VAT in price): You understood correctly, most such Chinese webshops now use the IOSS system, so you pay the VAT at the time of purchase.
  • Customs clearance fee: Although VAT is settled, the Hungarian Post (or the current courier) may charge a fixed customs clearance service fee (this is usually a few hundred or a thousand forints, depending on the package value and the handler).
  • Euro Warehouse: They also have a German warehouse (“Euro Warehouse”), shipping is faster from there, and since it’s within the EU, there’s no extra customs/VAT hassle, but the selection there is much more limited.

What to watch out for:

  1. Shipping time: From China (if you didn’t order from the EU warehouse), expect 2-4 weeks.
  2. Stock info: Check if the product is marked “24hrs”. If not, it can sometimes take days (or longer) for them to procure and ship it.
  3. Legal risk: Remember that in Hungary, ordering vape products from abroad is officially a grey area/prohibited category. Packages can theoretically be held by customs, although this is rare for wires and sleeves, they tend to focus more on nicotine products and complete kits. Ordering is at your own risk at all times!

Hello!

I’m writing a bit late, since the ordered product arrived from the website mentioned above, which was delivered by a DPD courier.

Hi Krisztián! 3fvape is also a reliable site, but it seems like Zoli (@TheSoftParade1968) wrote in one of the threads that there might be potential hidden costs with orders from there.

Yes, there is some extra cost, but it’s not terrible. :money_mouth_face:

You don’t need to pay attention then (what’s required is required), but rather manage your money so that if there are bills to pay at home, it won’t be a surprise.

Ah, okay, now I understand. I thought János wanted to draw my attention to the fact that the 3fvape site has hidden costs in addition to potential domestic hidden costs.
Yes, this extra cost must be factored in on every site where it is not indicated next to the price that the price includes Áfa (or VAT as they write it in foreign languages). :blush:
