New e-cig has no flavor

Hi everyone!

I recently started vaping. Up until now, I only smoked regular cigarettes and used disposable vapes, but I’ve now tried an e-cigarette as well.

I bought a Joyetech WideWick device, added e-liquid (I mixed it exactly as they instructed at the vape shop), but it has almost zero flavor. I let it steep and waited for the cotton to soak it up, but nothing—it has tasted like absolutely nothing ever since I bought it.

I know it won’t be as sweet as a disposable vape, but it feels like I’m just inhaling air, or even worse.

I don’t know what I did wrong. I looked into it and think the device might just be crap, but I’m really not sure and I’m feeling lost…

I have a few questions.

Have you tried adding more flavoring (aroma) to that e-liquid? (It’s by no means certain that their recommendation matches your personal taste.)

Also, have you tried any other types of flavors? If so, do you not feel enough flavor with those either?
