I would like to ask for help and/or experiences. It concerns the French (Born To DIY) base liquid.
Since Liquidhall is gone, I have been ordering the aforementioned base liquid from abroad, specifically along with flavors that I also ordered from LH. However, somehow it’s not the real deal. The flavors are much milder, duller, they all taste ‘the same’. Have you perhaps experienced something similar? These are different flavors, and of course, I have a baseline for comparison because of Liquidhall.

70/30 VG/PG
50/50

It shouldn’t be like this with a standard base liquid. If it was slightly off, it would rather cause an increase in flavor. An excess of BG causes a weaker flavor. These are fundamental principles so far. What occurred to me: was the steeping time sufficient?
Hi. It might be that you are using flavors that the manufacturer has slightly diluted. You wouldn’t be the first one experiencing this. I was fine with Vampire Vape stuff, but then I needed double the amount of flavor concentrate to achieve the expected taste. I gave up on them. I read here that some people have already noticed that their favorite flavor, which used to be good at 3-5%, now unfortunately delivers the expected result at 10%, much more expensively of course.
Manufacturers in Hungary are ripping off consumers… the drop in demand due to extra taxes was expected, especially given the exploitative era we’ve been living in since 2020.
Yes, it’s a two-way street/two options. Let’s say for me, the base liquid that was TH-free never spoiled even in the cupboard. The one that also has TH, I keep it in the vegetable crisper. Currently, I’m vaping Laca-type aromas. A few people recommended the gorilla (flavor) here. I didn’t like it at first. Nor later. Now, after 3 months (steeped), I like it, but I still can’t find the banana anywhere. The recommended % also proved to be too low. It’s enjoyable at 10%. I will definitely order more, but then I will try mixing it at 15-20%. Then, at most, I’ll dilute it if it’s too concentrated.
Hi, I also ordered nicotine salt. I haven’t experienced what you are describing. Mind you, I must add that I previously made the base myself, and I only just started buying ready-made base liquid. But my experience so far is that the final result was the same as what I already knew.
