I want to learn how to wick, can you recommend a tank?

Hi everyone

I would like to learn to wick and use a squonk this year. Maybe you can give me some tips, what RDTA and mod do you recommend for it?

Unfortunately, my hand dexterity is probably at the level of a 5-year-old, so it needs to be simple :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Hi!

If you don’t want to fuss with wicking and squonking is also important to you, I’d skip the RDTA. Most squonk bottles store a sufficient amount of liquid, and in my opinion, the RDTA’s small capacity tank doesn’t add that much extra. An RDA, however, is the perfect pairing for a squonk system. Wicking tanks can vary for some RDAs, but generally speaking, these are the easiest to build.

Before I/we recommend any Mod+RDA, it would be important to know your preferences. MTL/RDL/DL?

If you’d like, I have an mtl rda that we can trade for a symbolic amount, or I can even lend it to you, I don’t use it, it’s just there. I’m also happy to help with the coil building/wicking, it’s not a big deal. However, I don’t have a spare squonker mod, you’ll need to get that, but if you want, I can also look around in case I see one in one of the groups. For

Actually, I might buy it, I’m looking for a mod for it. As a long-term solution, I definitely want a reliable one where the device doesn’t weaken and can withstand daily drops in the long run.

Currently, I’m using a Vaporesso Apex, and its battery is pretty worn out, but I love it because it holds a lot of liquid and is compact.

I think in the long run it’s definitely cheaper than atomizers/pod heads, I just want to learn until this device is still functional.

I’m not trying to talk you into it, but first try it to see if you would like it or if you could use the squonk.

There are people here who don’t like it.

If you don’t like it, then you’re throwing your money away unnecessarily.

By the way, Zoli is right, on the one hand, it doesn’t work for everyone, and on the other hand, the squonk has a disadvantage, which is why I only use it at home now; your clothes, pocket, or anything you store it in can easily get liquid on them. You have to be very careful how you use and carry it.

If you have a refill bottle, then you don’t even have to take it out of the mod, and you won’t get messy, you just have to unscrew the rda.

True, you have to pay attention not to dry hit it, but if you wick it well, there can be no problem with an mtl rda.

I’m not saying it’s regular, but it happened to me that I primed a few times, took one puff, and had to leave; in my haste, I put it in my pocket, and a few drops of juice nicely leaked out through the air hole. But it also happened that I put it in my pocket and forgot it was there, got into the car, and my key pressed exactly on the flask. I’ve had accidents like these; they can easily happen. Especially if you’re a beginner and, say, don’t feel how much you need to pump

Thank you for the tips. Maybe for now I’ll stick with a simple mod + some tank on which I would try coil building + wicking.

If you haven’t built coils yet, it’s worth starting your practice with a tank first. If you’re already proficient and can judge from the draw how much liquid might be in your
