Looking for a skilled person. to repair a total of four Provari 2.5 devices in the family. For understandable reasons, sending them back to Provape for repair is not an option.
I gladly accept any ideas or recommendations.

4pcs…ejhaaa. I had the 2.0. The biggest problem is the parts shortage… especially now 8 years after they pulled the plug. Although, as far as I know, it wasn’t easy to source, for example, an original battery retaining spring or microswitch from the USA 8-10 years ago either. There was one company here that dealt with this, but they stopped a long time ago too.

I said a tearful goodbye to mine 2 years ago (for 2kg of shelled walnuts
), even though it worked.
I also had to persuade the craftsman to make the Topside cap.
If the problem is electronics, that’s a more difficult thing.

Unfortunately, it’s not the body. Over time, I’ve acquired a few spare parts. But naturally, not all of them. It’s always the electronics that are the problem. Thank you for the answer. Don’t hesitate to share any other ideas.
Shelled nuts…. I would have gladly sent it to you. Now 110 euros is the price of a zero-kilometer mini… I pondered buying it because of the electronics, but then it didn’t happen.
What is the problem now, with the electronics?

A Dragon gives a common e8 error message. I will check the others because they have been in the box for a while.
The big problem is that its manual also says to contact the manufacturer for 6 out of the 8 error codes.

Info taken from a French forum:
Chip contact spray, they sell it with a thin nozzle, which you can gently get next to the electronics with, spray lightly a few times. I’ve done this about 4 times in 13 years with mine, most of the time dirt gets in next to the switch and accumulates on the PCB, this solved it for me. If it still persists after this, then unfortunately it’s just a metal pipe, because the DC-DC converter has died.
P.S.: 2.5mm available here at a bargain price ![]()
Thank you, I’ll try it.
You type “NosztalgiAlbum” into the search here, you’ll find pictures of it there. I’ll write more about it a bit later, we’re just having a flying day with the kids.
