Coil wrapping

Hi Gin :waving_hand:

It turned out nice, congratulations! :tada:

The ohm deviation is fundamentally a normal phenomenon.

If it measures around 1.06 Ω on all your mods, then it is likely that specific atomizer was just wrapped that low from the factory.

Manufacturers often work within a tolerance range of ±0.1–0.2 Ω - meaning it can be slightly lower or higher than the nominal value - so this is acceptable, especially at higher resistances.

The resistance deviation can also be influenced by:

  • the mod’s measurement accuracy (it can differ slightly depending on the chipset)
  • the cleanliness of the connection points
  • and of course, the temperature of the atomizer as well

If it works well, then everything is fine.
