Injector burnout

Hello everyone. Back in early autumn, I wrote about how the coils burn out very quickly. I’m already ordering the umpteenth box of them. I always pay attention to the e-liquid level, I always prime them, etc.
The device is a Vaporesso gtx go 40. After one day of use, it already has a burnt taste. Could there be a problem with the device? It’s already about 3 years old. Only the top half of the coil always burns out.

Hi! I would definitely change the device

Hi!
I have the same issue. I’m using a Smok RPM 3 coil in my Nord 5, and the burnt taste appears at the top of the coil. Unfortunately, I don’t think this can be eliminated. It could be avoided if the inside of the coil narrowed from bottom to top, which would provide better cooling at the top. But like this, the hot vapor at the top contributes to the caramelization (of the

Hi. Is it just me, or is it strange that I had no problems for 1.5 years? So I’m replacing the device now, hoping it will be better.

But I guess not in one day… this is the big problem.

Or if you have a knack for tinkering, you like to tinker, then I can advise this to make it cheaper: I refurbish the RPM 3 coil, this way it’s about 150-200 HUF, and this way it’s not so bothersome, because if needed I refurbish it every day, and this way you don’t have to give up good flavors. A box of coils costs 10,000 HUF, if I refurbish it, it’s one thousand, so 9,000 HUF remains, from which I buy a longfill, 2 boosters, and base liquid :). Or the other extreme is not to use sweet liquids, because they eat up the coil. One of my acquaintances only vapes VG, that’s how it’s good for him.

It’s also possible that something is oxidized somewhere, and it’s damaging the coil. In my opinion, you should get another device. If you stick with Vaporesso, they have a few devices that use these coils. Perhaps one with a display, so you can set the correct wattage for the coil yourself; this way, you’ll extend its lifespan.

If I have to tinker with it, then for me, the atomizer has lost what makes it a convenience device. In that case, I’d rather just change the cotton in any rebuildable atomizer .

No, not at all, my atomizer lasts a long time like this, Bombo Supra Reserve is sweet enough, and it easily takes 2000 puffs with approx. 48VG/52PG. But if it were Bombo Barjuice, I’m not so sure, that one is very overly sweetened.

Well yes, everyone likes it differently, I like to tinker with it

The patient watchmaker can bear it. It would be death. Excuse me, I’d rather have an RTA.

 In the video, the vaper does it quite slowly and clumsily, that’s why it seems difficult  It takes about 2 minutes, I just couldn’t find a video demonstrating the GTX coil

Have you re-wicked the Halmizer or Buddha? (1mm coil build,

By the way, I re-wicked the “atomizer” on my e-health [device/atomizer] with a magnifying glass once. It wasn’t worth it for 0.3 ml capacity.:sweat_smile:

What is the resistance of the atomizer? What wattage are you running it at? What is the liquid like (VG/PG ratio, what flavor)? Is it getting enough airflow? Do you release the button before you stop inhaling, or do you perhaps press it a little longer after you’ve stopped inhaling?
These all have an effect on an atomizer’s lifespan.

Okay, all of this in one go if possible.

The 0.3 ohm atomizer. I’ve been using this since the beginning. As I wrote, I had no problems for the first 1.5-2 years. Airflow always full, I don’t block the opening, I always pay attention to the level, I release the button in time.

Well, as they wrote, maybe the tech has gotten old, or I don’t know.
Maybe the coils aren’t like they used to be.
