I have the same issue. I’m using a Smok RPM 3 coil in my Nord 5, and the burnt taste appears at the top of the coil. Unfortunately, I don’t think this can be eliminated. It could be avoided if the inside of the coil narrowed from bottom to top, which would provide better cooling at the top.
