Yes, but unfortunately, due to my own documented experiences, I don’t have a well-proven mod. I managed to try a Hastur, and now I am “fanatically” searching for that experience, because so far that was the cleanest. ![]()
Exactly! During my nearly 20 years of vaping, I’ve dealt with quite a few mods and tanks, but the adjustability down to the tenth (of a watt) brought no noticeable change for me. Or maybe I’m just unrefined ![]()
That’s a huge misconception; this isn’t being unsophisticated, but rather we are different, and we react differently. There are those who can use a longer Drip Tip without losing flavor. Or their throat isn’t sensitive enough to notice warmer vapor. Unfortunately, I notice that my vapor density, temperature, or my draw isn’t tight enough, and because of these, I adjust a lot
Everyone can only adjust according to their own experience, and I have this ugly bad habit of liking to keep the Wattage (W) under control! But this is all subjective, and that’s okay. If it weren’t like this, there wouldn’t be MTL, RDL, or DL. ![]()
Hi.
Or perhaps the hastur mod measured more accurately than yours.
Did you mean this? ![]()
Hi,
Unfortunately, the issue wasn’t with the measurement, but with the fact that I could drive my own mod at 12 W, or 11 W. In the first case, the vapor was too hot, and if I opened the airflow, it wasn’t comfortably restricted. In the second case, the taste was colder and less rounded. When I borrowed a Hastur mod, at 11.7 W it became perfectly just right, very flavorful. So now I am looking for a device where I can adjust it to be this nicely flavorful, because the only device I have decreases in steps of minimum 1 W. ![]()
I’m sorry, I might be inexperienced because I don’t notice such a tiny performance change.
It was not my intention to be cynical, sorry if I was misunderstood, just understand that the members of this site have been vaping for 5, 10, and 20 years, who have mostly gone through several experiments that served the perfect vaping experience, so we just want to save [you] from an unnecessary expense. And yes, to each their own!
This is a subjective phenomenon. It’s not that I am more and you are less. We are just different, and that’s how it should be. There is no universal truth
I accept it if more of you report that YOU don’t feel it. And believe me, there is nothing wrong with that. That’s also why I’m not a fan of DL, because I don’t feel those flavors like in RDL. And that’s why I would like to experience the MTL line! ![]()
For me too, 2-3 W either way….
Especially if the coil is meter-long on the cotton.
This isn’t cynicism, I’ve been vaping since 2016, just in a different style. If this ‘W’ fuss wasn’t important to me, I would now be happily sipping on my BT200 mod, which is perfect for RDL, but it just doesn’t give the same experience that the Hastur gave ![]()
I use a few things between 14-75 watts.
I’ve already vaped a few ml of the mix, I really only noticed adjustments every 5 watts.
I have a few mods, but even my Dani’s can’t do tenth of a watt.
There is already some flavor difference compared to other mods even at 15 watts.
You are right, we are truly not the same.
That’s the real tobacco flavor
it can scratch properly
I use between 50-55 W ![]()
I could also ask what kind of wire, what kind of air, and a few other trivial nonsense things too ![]()
![]()
![]()
The wire is Ni80, please, 28 GA, 2 mm, self-wrapped, 1.12 Ohm. I don’t know how many wraps anymore. The internal AFC is 1.2 mm and the incoming air is set to 1/3 closed
the cotton is flashwicks by the way
You’re overthinking it ![]()
Not at all![]()
55 watts is just not valid in this setup ![]()
The trouble with vaping is that even if a Vaper finds the right mod, tank, wire, and cotton, they might stop there, because the same mod with a different tank won’t deliver the same result, and the reverse is also true. To this day, if I find a mod or tank I like, I stock up on 3-4 units, and in the meantime, I experiment with new ones until I find another marvel. For example, my current MTL favorite is the Vaporesso Gen 200 mod, Geek Vape MTL tank, and the PrestigePJ071 finned drip tip.
Oh, you mean currently ![]()
Steamcrave Aromarizer Supreme V3 mesh build has a 0.15 ohm dual K1 mesh strip inside, flashwicks cotton underneath, and the last 6 air holes are open. I thought you were asking about the Pandora why such an overcomplicated mod is needed ![]()
Na így már más a leányzó fekvése ![]()

AKkor ott nem keresem a 11.7 wattot ![]()
