What causes the liquid's color to change in a tank?

Hi everyone, what do you think causes it that I mixed my liquid (purple colored) filled it with a new atomizer and after a few puffs the purple color disappeared. I’ve never experienced anything like this before.

I think the liquid reacts like this to the coil’s heat. But I guess not every liquid behaves like this due to heat.

I was very surprised by it, because I’ve tried quite a few flavors with the same atomizer and the liquid’s color never disappeared. In the meantime, I tried it with another one, and the color disappeared there too. I checked specifically, nothing is expired and it’s in perfect condition. It turned from dark purple to a clear, neutral color

Hello!
It’s not an isolated case. On dwarwok [atomizers], the fault was condensation and discolored material that settled in the Allen screw slots of the two screws; a simple screw replacement solved the problem. With the new atomizer, the wire is likely to blame; I suspect it may have corroded while in storage…

Hi. I haven’t encountered this before, where the liquid in a tank became a neutral color. I have seen it turn brown. Maybe you vaped too hard and drew the color out of it.

I’ve experienced this twice before.

  1. when it got dark in between ()
  2. when I vaped freshly mixed liquid with very high intensity (but even then it only faded slightly).
Was it exposed to radiation, strong sunlight? Was there absolutely no residue in the bottle, no other moisture, the end of the previous liquid, washing water?
    I have no other tips.

It was a dry, freshly built tank. To be honest, I was surprised too. At home I will try cleaning it and putting in a new coil. I’m attaching a picture of what it became from the dark purple.

Was it a Vadifriss mix?:thinking: (This isn’t easy to fix even with Photoshop ).
But is the flavor OK? Because if some unstable coloring agent disappears, but the stuff is tasty, that’s the best-case scenario…)
What is the exact flavor type?

Flavor-wise, I think it’s okay. Maybe the flavor is a tiny bit weaker than on the first puff. It was a fresh mix, by the way, but I’ve also vaped fresh mixes right away at other times.

I’ve tried other flavors from this, and the color remained.

I just emptied and refilled it, just to show you the color difference. I haven’t vaped from it yet.

@Szeder I agree with the opinion. The liquid reacts like this due to heat.

But apparently it happened so quickly here that the heat didn’t even have time to arrive  I smell quantum physics :rofl:

I think you accept that you have a distilling machine!

Well, I don’t believe it unless I see it. I’m saying its color is fading with every puff. Tonight I’ll try it at home in a pod with a new coil, just out of curiosity.

I know that the A&L Valkyrie can fade due to sunlight. It’s a deep pink color by default, then it becomes very pale. I blinked at it too.

It’s really strange… as if I were dripping in a convertible in acid rain… on Pluto

I vaped another flavor from this brand, it was a toxic green color, I don’t know exactly which one. I vaped it in a pod and with the Legend 3, but I didn’t experience this.
