In the past few days, Vaperina’s access system and registration flow have undergone a significant overhaul. Our goal was for visitors arriving from external links (e.g., from search engines or social media shares) not to hit a stark barrier, but to be greeted by a modern, informative interface requiring the fewest clicks possible.
The new system is now live, and the following changes have been made:
1. Intelligent Topic Preview and Immediate Continuation
If a guest lands on the page by clicking on a specific topic, a sleek, card-like element will now appear above the login window.

What does it inform about? The card immediately shows the topic’s exact title, the cover image, the author, the number of comments, and a short excerpt from the topic. This way, the visitor sees what content awaits them inside.

No getting lost: One of the most important developments is that at the moment of login or registration, the system immediately and automatically redirects you exactly to the topic you intended to open. It won’t throw you back to the main page, you won’t have to search for the link again, and you can continue reading where you left off.
The interface also received a subtle ‘You can continue reading after logging in’ indicator.
2. Passwordless Registration and Login
Traditional password-based registration can often be a hassle: you have to come up with complex characters, and activating accounts can be difficult. We have now radically simplified this process with the email code (OTP) system.
What is the technical background and why is it much better?

The problem with the old method: Previously, we sent an activation link after registration. Clicking this often opened the page in a completely different browser tab or an in-app webview (especially on mobile), which broke the session, and the user found themselves still not logged in after clicking.

The new, code-based solution: From now on, you don’t need to provide a password, and there are no more clickable activation links. For registration, you only need your email address, to which the system will send a secure, one-time numeric code. Then, you enter your username, profile picture, and you’re in.

The process stays in place: You simply type or paste this short code into the already open Vaperina window, and the system will immediately prepare your account. You don’t have to jump between browsers, the session won’t be lost, and you don’t have to worry about forgetting passwords anymore.
