But what do we expect? It has always been this way. The point is manipulating people. For example, in the last 10-15 years, I would like to see the difference between the rate of illnesses like lung cancer from analogs (combustible cigarettes) and EVALI from e-cigarettes. Just taking my own example: after 15 years of analogs and 2-3 years of constant, nauseating coughing, I switched to e-cigarettes—oops, after 1.5-2 months, I wasn’t coughing anymore and I can breathe better. And who knows how many cases like this there might be. But of course, the positive changes don’t matter at all to them.
Not to mention the EVALI they use to scare people, which in 82% of cases in 2019-2020 was due to illegal THC-containing liquids.
Sure, and as long as there is a demand for it, so to speak, it will stay this way. Fear-based marketing has never led to long-term success, by the way. It is an effective but unethical version of sales. Since you can no longer put up huge posters saying “buy cigarettes because they’re good!”, this is what’s left. All the regulations in our little country are just playing into their hands… which “must be there because the great researchers who wrote the article are right! After all, Philip [Morris] said so, they must know!” Sigh, sigh…
One day their horns will be broken off too (I hope)
It will happen once. The only question is when.
During a team-building event, while already pregnant, I asked for a cigarette just for the sake of nostalgia. It had a disgusting taste; it has nothing to do with the flavor experience that made a person “enjoy” it in the past… It’s actually better that I felt this way
But you see it right, it’s packed with additives and “spiced up” so that thin nothingness burns for a long time…
You see it right, that cut Szofi tobacco experience is already just fine… and the funniest thing is, I hear from hard-core smoker colleagues that it hardly matters which one they buy. It’s all the same crap taste; the filter pretty much determines the strength. I prefer smoking cigarillos occasionally; they still more or less have actual tobacco in them—sure, it’s smelly and strong, but that segment probably isn’t worth chemically treating or over-fermenting yet.
Anyway, aren’t you afraid of relapsing if you smoke occasionally? I’m always scared it will flip the switch back. Although, I’ve only lit one up once since I quit.
I’m afraid we’ll have to wait a long time for this. Especially here, where they try to play it safe for the sake of profit: I’ll ban (or get banned) e-cigarettes, and that’s it.
People’s health has never mattered, only the revenue. At most, they’ll cynically tell you to just quit.
I used to buy cigarillos sometimes, they were terrible.
Since switching completely to electronic cigarettes, I haven’t smoked a single analog (traditional cigarette), and I haven’t even had the urge to.
I’m afraid, but I’m trying not to be.
When I didn’t smoke for half a year back in the day, I ended up getting back to cigarettes by smoking these kinds of cigarillos. At first, it was only one or two a day, then more and more, and finally, I was back to cigarettes.
I think there is a risk involved.
They will get tired of even the occasional one when they have to light a single cigarette 10–20 times.

I don’t know, but personally, I find it interesting that after a few months, cigarettes smell so bad to me that I wouldn’t even think about touching one.
The good old days..
Philip Morris, Eve, Kim, Kent, etc., etc., what delicious, fine-selected, fragrant tobacco they were made from.
Munkás, Kossuth, Románc, Filtol?!
Sorry!!

This is why such alarmist articles are appearing right now:
They’re spending it on healthcare. Yeah right, they’ve always said that, and yet there was never any sign of it.
