If anyone knows of a working supply source for either the squonk or the plain internal tank, please share it with me. Unfortunately, I haven’t succeeded, and the manufacturer hasn’t responded yet.
Also, if any of these devices are perhaps lying unused somewhere in a drawer, on a dusty attic shelf, at the bottom of a bag, or in the fridge/pantry and you would part with them, please contact me!

Yes, the pin broke. Let’s say at the beginning of its ‘career’, when I took out the tank for the first and only time, its weak point was visible. I decided then not to take it out. I have two such devices, one is only for squonking (the tank stays in place here, because I fill it from the bottom), the other is for normal tanks (here I take off the tank for filling). The plan would have worked, but for me, mods/tanks have never fallen from lower than 1.5 meters… And the pin couldn’t handle this anymore. The printed modification is ingenious, but it’s annoying that they couldn’t have reinforced this part from the factory with at least approximately a 0.5mm radius at its base.

This happened to me with the Wotofo Profile Squonk mod. It fell at home and a plastic part inside broke into many small pieces, and half of it fell out, so it can no longer be glued.
Maybe a flexible glue could work.
(In my case, the battery contact/squonk contact holder broke)
