Hello everyone, I’m turning to you with a question: I have a Vaporesso Lux XR Max and a Vaporesso Armour GS. I use both at 24 watts with a 0.6 ohm coil, with the same liquid, but the flavor experience from the Armour GS is far below that of the Lux XR Max. What could I do to make the GS’s flavor at least similar to the Lux’s? The Lux’s is so finely intense, while with the Armour GS, I don’t know, you can barely feel any flavor from it.
I use it with all original accessories, drip tip, and such.
Hi. I’m not a big specialist, but it’s weird from the start because both devices use the GTX coil. A few questions.
Have you tried with another coil?
For the Luxe XR Max, which coil head are you using? RDL or DTL? (I guess not MTL, if the coil is 0.6, or am I mistaken?)
On the Armour GS, which coil head do you have? Even though the drip tip is replaceable, there are 2 types of coil heads there too. On one, the airflow slot is twice as long as on the other.
I use DTL on both GS, that’s the wider drip tip
First off, I think you should try moving the coil from the Luxe XR Max into the Armour GS. If it works this way, then at least you’ll know that the other coil is toast.
Unfortunately, I don’t have many more tips, maybe the airflow setting. I had 2 Luxe XR Max devices, nothing special, I didn’t notice a big difference in flavor between the coils. I don’t have long-term experience with the Armour GS device, I might have used it for 2 days.
Hi!
I haven’t used either of them, so I might be talking nonsense, but I would definitely gradually increase the wattage to see how the flavor changes. My other thought is that maybe if you adjust the airflow to be tighter, that might also help.
This isn’t a recent story, it’s a few months old already. I just got tired of it, so I figured I’d ask if anyone knows anything. So, the coil replacement has happened a few times ![]()
I also tried the wattage adjustment, I didn’t really feel a change, but I’ll try it later with a narrower cap, maybe.
The liquid can taste different even in the same tank, let alone in another device. Maybe it would better enhance the flavor of a different type of liquid. ![]()

Well, I wasn’t successful, I don’t know what the problem
Found the solution.. it doesn’t like the 0.6 ohm coil. I put in the stock 0.15 ohm one at 70 watts and it’s fantastic ![]()
but for me this 70 is a bit much, I’ll experiment with slightly higher ohm
