In my opinion, ordering from outside the EU is very risky; there’s a high probability that it will arrive with customs and excise duty, if the package isn’t seized.

I see in some groups that it’s tricky even within the EU. More and more posts are coming saying that parcels end up with customs. How real is this? Are these reckless orders, or do small flavor packages get through?

Hi! There have been both cases like this and like that… but in 99% of cases, everything is smooth.
Let’s look at the two cases in question that I know of… there was a time when Liquid Hall packages sent with Fáma courier ended up in the hands of the Hungarian Tax Authority (NAV). Interestingly, it was only then, only with that specific courier company, and only LH packages… I don’t like to theorize.. and I won’t, M. But it is indeed more than strange.
The second category of cases involves packages arriving from Spain via UPS being inspected by the Hungarian Tax Authority (NAV). I had such a package myself… they opened it, checked it, and I received it a little later. My package didn’t contain nicotine, but I know of someone who had a good 300 bottles in theirs… obviously, those were confiscated too.
That’s about where we stand… from what I know.

I know that HC leaves the package for pickup at the post office.
I live in the countryside, where there is no post office.
In such cases, where do they put the package? 
Do they bring it to the address, or do they leave it at the nearest city post office?

The mail carrier usually doesn’t bring it out, because the HC order arrives in a box, you have to go to the post office for it.

I have only ordered from them twice, they didn’t even try to send it as registered mail. I received an email saying they were bringing my package and that was it!! Maybe it’s because we don’t have a post office either, I don’t know!

I have shopped with HC many times and never had a problem. Every package was very well packed, and I never paid any extra fees. It was perfect.
