Hi everyone! I want to quit smoking and was thinking of switching to e-cigarettes, then gradually reducing the nicotine amount.
Regarding this, I would like to ask for your advice. What kind of device should I buy (I was thinking of an MTL type), or where is it worth getting it from (it’s very expensive in the tobacco shop, and in Slovakia, only personal pickup is possible). I await your answers.

Based on the amount of information you’ve provided, it will be very difficult to find the best solution for you..

What kind of device would be ideal for you, broadly speaking?
With an atomizer? Or would you jump straight into DIY?
If with an atomizer, then a POD or a Mod and tank?
Money matters are also very important, it’s good to know approximately how much budget you have for this because you can get something from 5k forints… There’s no limit… Well, anything is possible.

At the same time, I would urge the use of the search function (magnifying glass icon top right); you’ll find many interesting things under the appropriate keywords.

Oh, and one more thing, what’s the cost, because other things are needed besides the device.
E.g.: Flavor, e-liquid base, battery charger, batteries (if the device isn’t an internal battery model), atomizer, wire, cotton, tools, etc.

I also strongly recommend checking out the Vaperina Bazaar. Some nice pod mods have been added recently; there’s nothing more beginner-friendly than pod mods.

In the first step, I was thinking of allocating a maximum of 20,000 HUF for the device and battery. I think that’s enough to start with. I’d like something that isn’t completely “beginner”, which I can use for at least half a year (or longer), so I don’t have to switch to another one after a few months. (I’m not interested in those cheap tobacco shop ones for 6-10,000 HUF). In the beginning, I don’t want to bother with DIY (coils), so I’d like a tank/atomizer. Later on, of course, I’d like a more advanced device. I think I would need an MTL type device. For the flavorings, base liquid, etc. (if it can’t be done otherwise, I’ll get them from the tobacco shop initially, but eventually, I’ll definitely need to think about “larger” quantities. If you could recommend a device based on this, perhaps where to buy it, suggestions, as well as advice and help regarding purchasing accessories (base liquid, nicotine, etc.). I welcome all comments and suggestions.

There’s a good reason for it: if you order in the morning or early afternoon, there’s a good chance you’ll have the stuff the next day.

The budget is tight, but I have a setup that would fit the budget and leave some room for future expansion.
I would vote for the Voopoo Doric Astra.
Fundamentally, it’s a great MTL kit. It does have a built-in battery, but at this budget, I don’t think anything else is an option, because if it’s replaceable, you need a charger and all that…
But a big advantage is the 510 platform.
Another big advantage is its current price.
It’s currently on sale at A&L, and you can also get everything else on this site… coils for it… flavorings.. nicotine.

I agree with the Doric! It can be a great choice! I use it regularly alongside RTAs. Let’s say with another mod, but the one it comes with is also perfect as a starter

If you could stretch that budget a bit, I can recommend the Aspire Zelos X with a Nautilus tank and a 1 ohm coil. I really like it, it’s a great mod.
Of course, the mod mentioned above is also perfectly fine.

Actually, what you need is a pack of coils.. @Peva71, please be kind and help with coil experiences.. but I guess the 1 ohm one might be the best.

Base liquid here at home is the cheapest if I calculate correctly, 6500 Ft including shipping for 2 liters.
But if you don’t want to order from multiple places but everything from here

So, if I understand correctly, it’s worth ordering the device, the atomizer, the nicotine, and a mixing bottle from AL. The flavor concentrate, or the base liquid, can also be bought domestically.

Yes, I recommend the 1 ohm coil. The 0.6 ohm one isn’t bad either, but Dani handles it better for me 
which isn’t around now.
By the way, I’ll note that it brings out sweet flavors quite strongly for me, so if someone doesn’t like that, they might not like it.
By the way, I use this v2 coil in it (the 1.2 ohm one). I don’t know the difference from the regular one

It was quite a struggle, I almost gave up luckily I read at @Orbit76’s that it doesn’t go that smoothly
I don’t know what’s in the v2 poti, look it up, but I’ll check too.
No other obsidi has such a fine sweet flavor
