So, I have this Kayfun V5, but I couldn’t really use it because I mostly vape MTL, and it was missing the airflow pin insert under the coil (I bought it without one), and it’s almost impossible to get one for it. So, I tinkered a bit this afternoon… and… lo and behold, the Cthulhu Valor air pin fits perfectly! How great is that!!! It’s maybe just a tiny bit tight. Now it’s perfect for me. I put in the 1.5mm pin (because I wasn’t using it in the Valor anyway).
It also got a new coil, Kanthal A1 29ga plain wire. 2.5mm inner diameter, 4 wraps. 0.8 ohm, 14.7 watts. Simply perfect. :blush:

Hey Robi!

I don’t know if the V4’s airflow isn’t good for it… ? :thinking: I think the V4 is also on the Aero…

I don’t know. I’ve never had a V4. I bought this second-hand, or… who knows how many hands later, unfortunately, when I first took it apart (for cleaning), I saw that its deck inside, near the airflow holes, had been drilled into, I guess, for a DL experience. But this tank works very well in MTL, and that’s just enough for me.

It’s a shame it got ruined. I have a screw for this Aero[Con] atomizer, but if the thread is stripped, it’s a goner… :pensive_face:
