Hi @enzo858585! Welcome to the community! No problem if it got long, we’re here to help you navigate through the clouds. ![]()
It’s totally fine that you’re using a 0.6 ohm coil, in fact! One of the biggest advantages of the Vaporesso GTX GO 80 is that it’s compatible with almost all GTX coils, so you can decide what style you want to vape in.
What’s the difference between 0.2 and 0.6 ohm?
The key is in the resistance and power. Imagine it like a hookah and a regular cigarette:
- 0.2 ohm (DL - Direct Lung): This is the “direct lung” style. It produces a lot of vapor, the vapor is warmer, and it consumes more battery and e-liquid. The factory package usually includes this, because the device can handle 80W, and it’s for “cloud chasing”.
- 0.6 ohm (RDL - Restricted Direct Lung): This is a tighter lung hit. It produces less vapor than the 0.2 ohm, but it’s much more economical with battery and liquid. As you can see in your picture, this one feels good between 20-26W.
Which one should you choose?
There’s no “better” or “worse”, only what you prefer!
- Stick with the 0.6 ohm if: You like the vapor not to be too hot, if you don’t have to refill the tank every hour, and if a moderate amount of vapor is enough for you.
- Try the 0.2 ohm if: You like huge clouds, more intense (but warmer) flavors, and you don’t mind if the device drains faster.
Important tip: With the GTX GO 80, make sure the coil has three rubber rings (like you see in your picture, the red rings), because these seal better and leak less!
If you have any more questions about mixing or maintenance, just ask! And if you want to start mixing your own liquids, I recommend the VapeDIY calculator, it makes life much easier. ![]()
